HELP ST. JUDE BY CREATING A PEPPER AT CHILI'S TO FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER!!!!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili’s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Guests at participating Chili’s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:

- Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.

- Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

- Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.

- Eat at Chili’s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili’s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.

Visit www.createapepper.com and to make an online donation.

PASS IT AROUND!!!!

GET YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY TOGETHER!!! TRUST ME ITS SUCH AN AMAZING CAUSE :)

Hi my son Diego was just diagnosed with Rhabdo of the forearm as well. Your story is really helping me cope right now. My son's popped up after surgery and the Dr did nothing at CHLA but once we were seen by Dr. Fermino there he knew that day and did a biopsy the next day. Praise God for him as although the tumor is large it is localized.

Hello Devin's family,

I pray this message finds you safe and sound in the remission. I still have a bookmark for Devin's caring bridge site and was wondering and expecting to see a report of good news; you must be near the three year mark and
counting. Our son just had his three year off treatment scans and that was a reminder that your boy should be near.

If you get a chance, write back. May God bless and restore all that was taken from you.

all we can say is wow! what a happy boy, me and my fiance met devin on the boat ride at the hilton in hawaii, we live here and never been so touched in such a little while. The 20 minute ride on the boat and to meet and talk with you and your mom, Debora. it was such a highlight of our day. Devin, you are a strong big kid, who made us laugh since you stepped on the boat and asked the skipper if she could wait for your grandfather. We are so glad to witness and be a small part of your vacation to Hawaii. We hope to see some pictures of your vacation, email them to us if you have time. Once again thank you for being a part of our day, and now our prayers. God Bless You. --Allan and Tani

My daughter was just diagnosed with Rhabdo, Stage 3. It helps to read about people who are having success and are still positive. Her cancer came as a complete shock to her father and I. She was just supposed to have a cyst removed, and return to her normal, happy three year old life. We will pray for Devin and his continued success.

It made me so angry when I read how the doctors wouldn't listen to you. That tumor stayed in his body for months before they took it out then chemo was delayed. I don't know what I would have done. I'm so happy that Devin has done well. I would like to hear from you how he is doing now. My 9 year old son Josh was diagnosed on March 26, 2003 and he has already gotten his first dose of Chemo, all in just 3 days. We have be lucky to have wonderful doctors. They were able to remove the entire tumor and he is a stage 1. This has certainly been a wake up call for our entire family. I will pray for Devins complete cure.

Devin and family - I hope there is no update because all is going well there. I hope this year will be a joyous and HEALTHY one for your family. Many people think of you and follow you in your journey, so please let us know how things are. Do not be disillusioned that people dont often sign the guestbook, they are still checking in - they just dont know what to say.
