I can't believe how quickly Christmas is coming around. It won't be long now!

Hip hop, hippety hop
My “Easter Bunny” went off to the shop,
He bought me an egg and lots of chocs
And packed them into a cardboard box.
Then he wrapped it with paper and shiny string
It really was such a pretty thing.
Disaster struck when I opened the door-
He slid across the parquet floor,
He went round the corner and past the stairs
And finished up in a pile of chairs.
Of the Easter goodies not a trace,
he’d thrown them into my fireplace!
So a warning before you go opening doors
Make sure your “Bunny” has non-slip paws!

Well it sounds like you and me both need to take some "chill pills". I stress out too much. I have been having chest pains, no energy, low blood sugar levels, I could go on and on. Anyway, I have a cardio appt on the 24th and I pray all is okay and they just say, I am stressed. Myron said for me to try to take a drive every afternoon by myself that it will relax me just to sight see. What do you think my answer was? "I could get into an accident and then that would really stress me out!" You see, I am basically hopeless. No what does really seem to work for me is to just go outside and look for birds, butterflies, of course ladybugs, and dragon flies. I like to have complete peace and quiet fr a little while each day. Through the school year, I get a lot more of it but in the summer... You get the picture. Love, Tracy

I always pray for Huey but now I am praying for you too. I haven't felt well lately, very tired and out of breath a lot. I believe maybe it is just anxiety but we will see. Our children depend on us so much and it just is very draining so take care of yourself:)

You are so correct about the devil. If we give him an inch he'll take a mile. I don't know how many times I have called on the name of Jesus to release the hold that the devil has on us. Jesus has always been there for us too.

I am so glad that Huey is doing so great. I will be lifting his name in prayer for that GVH and the eye surgery. I know that trip to Nashville had to be so much pressure. It is great to see some awesome faith in your family. We serve an awesome God.

I know that must of been awful. God is so good all the time. I really don't like the lessons in life, but they always make us stronger. You'll know what to look for next time and maybe it won't get so bad. I didn't realize that the 24 hour bug could do all that. I'll watch Holly close. It is great that we have these sites to relay our stories. It can be so helpful along the way.

CHRISTOPHER WAS AN 8 YEAR OLD BOY WHO WAS SO FULL OF LIFE.
CHRIS HAD STARED DEATH IN THE FACE ONCE BEFORE BUT BATTLED BACK FROM THE BRINK OF DEATH. CHRIS WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AML ON THE 2ND OF OCTOBER 2001. HE SEEMED TO BE RESPONDING WELL TO TREATMENT BUT UNFORTUNATELY ON THE 6TH OF NOVEBER 2001 HIS IMMUNE SYSTEM CRASHED AND HAD TO BE TAKEN TO INTENSIVE CARE AND FROM THEN ON HE WAS ON A VENTILATOR TO HELP HIS LUNGS. CHRIS HAD TO BE SEDATED TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE OF SURVIVING AGAINST THE BUG WHICH WAS DESTROYING HIS SYSTEM. UNFORTUNATELY CHRIS TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORST ON THE 14TH OF NOVEMBER WHICH MEANT THERE WAS NO WAY BACK FOR HIM. WE WERE TOLD ON THE THURSDAY THAT CHRIS WOULDNT LAST THE NIGHT OUT BUT HE HELD ON FOR A FURTHER 24 HOURS AND SADLY PASSED AWAY ON NOVEMBER 16TH 2001 AFTER ONLY ONE COURSE OF CHEMO AND ONLY 7 WEEKS AFTER BEING TOLD HE HAD
LEUKEMIA. WE MISS CHRIS TERRIBLY EVERY DAY AND OUR LIVES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.

May 7th.. wow are you going to have a blast at the Give kids the World Village!! Do the kids know that the ice cream palace is open like 7 am to 8 pm with free ice cream all day long? They have evenst going on there too like Mondays is pool side dinner with Shamu, Wed. is parents' nite out, Thurs is meet Santa & Mrs Clause... in the mornings characters come for breakfast at the Gingerbread House Restaurant - plan on bringing tons of film - we could never afford to go on our own & Ronnie LOVED seeing Pluto at breakfast. It is so cool, it just goes by so fast....

Hi! I read your entry into Ross's guestbook and wanted to stop by and say Hello. Our 7 year old son, Connor, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma on Oct. 12, 2001. He just finished six weeks of everyday radiation, and is continuing with his chemo. He has about 20 weeks left. God has been so good to us in all of this. We know that he is going to HEAL Connor completely. Connor has been an inspiration to so many people, as I'm sure your Baby Huey has been. We will be praying for him and your family. These days are tough, but we will all make it through, with God's help. I saw in the photo's, which are beautiful, by the way, that you guys have been at Vanderbilt some. That is where Connor is receiving his treatment. Take care and God Bless!

Hello Jacksons, how are you doing?
Yes, dont panic at the blood work until you have to... it takes dips & dives here & there.
Ronnie's counts are good but he has pneumonia.
So the plus side is he can be home on antibiotics since his counts ARE good.
I cried all morning yesterday before work when I read about Delaney.
I wish I knew what to do or say to them.

Praise God for your childs healing. We lost our daughter Ariel to AML M7 September 13, 2000 following a transplant. She actually died of a fungal infection and we believe she would have beaten her leukemia if she hadn't gotten that. I love to hear about children beating the monster!
