hello everyone,this is just a quick update on Hueys progress,he is back on chemo,been on it since July now just got back fron Nashville Tennessee,he takes chemo every 2 weeks at Childrens Hosp.in Knoxville Tenn,they have put him on 2 blood pressure pills aday,uped hismeds an basically he went from34 lbs to around 60 in just a few months,dew to all the meds an the fluids there pushing in him,helso had to have another chest tube put in to take the chemo,they said his veins couldnt take the chemo nomore,so the 4 tube was put in,I'll update more often I promise,ive updated the pictures with Huey ,his big sister MaryBeth,an his new little sister Leah,an Staceywere engauged to be married this summer,happy as ive ever been,my kids love her to death,+++i'll update soon,remember Huey in your prayers,thank you all so much.....Happy New Years everyone an God Bless......

Hello all
just wanted to drop by an let everyone know how Huey was doing,so far he doing great,he starts 2nd grade this year an loving it,Huey is doing so great were hoping he goes off of the meds next office visit,which is next month,fingers crossed,I would like to say thank you all for your prayer,they have made a differance for Huey,

Hello to everyone,
I just wanted to drop by an say hello, an to let everyone know how Huey has been doing lately,well,here we go,he has finely grew about 3inchs an gained around 5 pounds which dont seem like a lot but with him is great conserding he was the same weight for over 3 years,there trying to get him off of the meds now,which is also wonderful,I hope its not 6 months the next time before the next update,but in short words all is well with little Huey,thank you all for your prayers alot,he remain doing great an being my little miracle.................

Hello everyone,
So sorry for the long wait on the update,but that is a great sign, it means Huey is doing great,we took him for his 2 month visit an all is well.
The doctor said the labs were great an all is well,Huey has grew several inchs an even gained around 6 pounds which makes him 38 lbs an were very excited about that.
We have to go back to the doctor in Aug to see them again an hopefully they give us a break for 6 months instead of every 2 months.
We'll update as soon as possible,but for right now Huey is doing great,Were getting ready to celebrate his 6th birthday on the 21st of this month an he is so excited....were as excited as he is,we would like to also say thank you for every prayer that you have prayed for Huey an this family,it has surely worked well,so thank you from the bottom of our hearts................

Greeting All,
I would like to drop a few lines to let everyone know how Huey has been doing over the last few months,
Well to start it off we went to Nashville an they done there same rountine as they always do,measurements an also bloodwork,well they said his gvhd was a little worse this time,so the would need to start aggressive therphy on him,
so were still waiting on that to start.
So in the meantime Huey has had that flu virus that was killing all these people a few months ago,the doctors in Knoxville said it was the full blown flu virus,an thanks be to Jesus he recovered very well after being off from school for about 2 weeks,
So about 3 weeks ago guess what hit again,no not the flu this time,pneumonia, what a time that was another 2 weeks off from school because this type was very contagious,an couldnt be around other children.
We are now so far thank you Jesus doing good not sick or anything like that at all,Huey is in school an enjoying it,thats a miracle,no im just joking ,he likes it perty good.
Well I would like to say that im sorry for slacking on writeing an giving updates,we'll update asap,well we have to go to Nashville in april an if anything come up or changes we'll update asap,thank you all for all of those glourious prayers that you are praying an have been praying over the last 4 years.....God Bless You All,from our heart to yours.............

Hello all,
Just would like to drop a few lines an say were so sorry for slacking on the updates,well here is what has been hapening in the last few months,
Huey had his last eye surgery an this time all went wonderful,he was off school for a month an was so excited having that many days off, an in the process of having all of the cataracts removed,it caused him to be near sighted an he had to have glasses,an these glasses have bifocals in them,he loooks really good with them an in the process he really likes them,thank you jesus,an since the surgery he has had the full blown flu a few weeks ago,an we also had to make a trip to Nashville Tenn,for the normal 3 months check up,an even know the blood work is really great the Graft verses host disease is tring to flare up even more,he has lost 15% more flexablity in his left arm an hands,not a good thing for him because now there going to set up aggressive therphy on his arms fingers an legs,an maybe have to start him on high doses of steriods,will know in a few days,when you pray remember him,we will update as soon as possible,may be a little while,but we'll update soon,God Bless each an everyone of you that stop by an check on Huey........

Hello all,
Just wanted to drop a quick update an let everyone know how Huey is doing,or how the test went,we went in an they were able to do only one test,the EEG,an the other one will be done on Nov,13 an then we will see the doctor to go over the test then,we will update more then,an also we went to the dentist today an they had to pull another tooth,an he is still doing great from the eye surgery,Thank God,An we would like to say thank you to a very special young girl who's name is Molica Yann for seeing Huey's name an sent him a car that you put together by lego blocks,You should have seen his eyes when he got something through the mail,an really seen his eyes when he opened it up an there was a truck in it,he said is it mine daddy,yes son I said,all right he replyed,an was so excited that he had to take to to both grandmaws an show it off,he loves cars an trucks so much,an to get one through the mail really excited him so much,so Molica Yann thank you so very much for your kindness,we really appreciate you for the gift,God bless you all for your kind words that you all have wrote an spoke to us over the last several years,its really been a great blessing to us............................

Hello all,
We just wanted to drop a line an let everyone know what is going on with Huey,
Well we finally got ahold of the doctor an told them about Hueys sickness(flu like symptoms) an told her about Hueys problems he had last weekend,an all that had happen to him then,well this is what she said,she said first thing monday morning we have to take him to Knoxville Tenn to Childrens Hospt,to have ct scans an xrays done of his head,they think he might have have a stroke or a slight heart attact even know he is doing great now she said she couldnt take to big of a chance with this,she said she was very concerned about it an it had to be done because of all of the radiation an chemo he has had,all we know is that it scared us to death,an hearing this is bad enough,I hate to cut this short but wanted to update you all an have to to be praying for Huey an all of the test,we know a God that is able to move in all situations,Amen.............I'll update as soon as possible ok..........

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update on Huey,he is doing good just a little sick with some kind of virus,he's complaining with his ears an stomach,just to be honest with everyone its too early for this I think,When Huey gets sick it affects him in a very hard way,it can just about kill him,or to be honest it can because it does so many differant things to his body,he ahs been in the hospital not even a year ago with the same simptoms,but last time it hit him so hard that they had to air lift him out,because he was not responding to anything at all,he was to be honest on the verge of death,they told us then that he was in the beginning stage of going into a coma,now thats very scary,when they air lifted him out that besides the time he was diagoised an relapsed was the scariest day of our lifes,if you are reading this please pray for him we have an appointment tomorrow for him here in town instead of going for here in Ky to Tenn to see the doctor an were hoping to get ahead of this befor we have a repeat of the last 2 times,we know a God that is able to heal an manner of diseases an he can he this also,I would like to say thank you all for taking time to stop by an check on Huey Our Miracle,an write in his journal,I would like to add God bless all of you for your prayer an thoughts,i'll update as soon as possible on what the doctor said,until then God Bless..........

Hello everyone,
Just would like to update Hueys results from the trip on his bonemarrow,
Well our doctor just let us know that his bonemarrow is still 100% donor cell (praise the lord)an all of his labs are normal (thank you Jesus) an the chronic graft verses host disease is stable (thank you presious Jesus)an we have to go back in 3 months for another check up...
Huey is doing great in school an seems to love it(breaking me an my wifes heart though) were so used to him being here an we really miss him,he really loves rideing the school bus everyday,an we also so happy to say on the 17th of Aug,we are celebrateing Huey being 3 year leukemia FREE,(THANK YOU JESUS)were just so happy to have him in our lifes an to have such a mercyful God that still heals today an forever more,we will update really soon,an let everyone know how he is doing,an to let everyone know we will be taking Huey to an cancer surviver party that Children Hosp.put on every year,an were so excited to be able to go,until the next update God bless each an everyone of you with the blessings of God in your life............

I hope all is doing great on this beautiful day that God has blessed us with,If were alive then were blessed,praise the Lord,
Just wanted to let everyone that reads this know that Jesus Loves You,
An to let everyone also know that Huey is doing great,we enjoyed our camping trip(no fish caught)but he seemed to enjoy hisself anyway,we just had a great time after we got there an it poured the rain all night long,but the next day was the make up day it was so so nice an beautiful there,we all just went to have fun an that is what we done,was enjoyed ourselfs,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be traveling to Nashville Tenn,to see the bonemarrow doctor for Hueys 3 year check up,it is so hard to believe that after 2years of them saying he wouldnt make it through this transplant or beat the AML M7 leukemia he has been 3 years leukemia free now,Praise the Lord, its not the doctor doings it the wonderful work of Jesus Christ,it was a wonderful thing called a Miracle,Thank you Jesus,we are just so happy for our son an for know someone like Jesus an knowing that he is able to do great an wonderful miracles like this,I would like to say that I have a wonderful wife,Sandy which is so so great to me an the kids,she is such a GREAT mom also an that mean a whole lot,Im so proud of her she has prayed about a career or what she wanted to do with her life an she has decided that she wanted to a career in nurseing,she starts school next month for nurseing,an she is going to be nurse with only children,an I would like to say how proud of her I am,An also Huey starts school Aug 7th in kindergarden an he so looks forward to it,were just an excited family that loves to give Jesus praise for all things big or small,I will update as soon as we get back with the doctor reports on Hueys 3 year check up on his bonemarrow,please continue to pray for him an all of these test that all will go great,until the next update God bless all of you,God loves you all an so do we........................

Just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know how the trip to the doctor went yesterday,in short words or to say great,he got blood work,an for the first time in 4 years he did not cry,Praise the Lord,our little miracle is growing up,He is just doing so great,We got more reports when to take a trip to see his bonemarrow doctor an it is on July 31 an the 1st of Aug,for his get ready for this 3 YEAR BEING LEUKEMIA FREE CHECKUP, Can someone else say Praise the Lord,well we sure are,Giving Jesus all of the glory for doing this for my child,Thank you Jesus,if your reading this for the first time,as you already know I believe in praiseing Jesus for any an all things big or small,because he said in his word that he inhabits the praises of his people,an I sure have learnt to give him praise for all things,if its bad I give him praise because he will see us throught it,some way some how,

Hello all,
Just wanted to update on the testing at Saint Josephs for the heart cather last thursday went,well we got there around 7:15 an was signed by 7:30 an was supposed to be the first anbuy 2:10pm they were ready for me,after the long delay an my nerves tore all up,an scared to death they came an got me an took me back an when the doctor came in surgery they told me they would give me a medicane the would cause me not to care what they done to me,well they did when he came throught the door an I felt the meds go in an I was hopefull it wouldnt hurt because they an everyone the has went through it said it dont hurt or you dont feel anything,well I felt it all an the meds didnt affect me in any way at all,they didnt knock me out I was wide awake an felt the neddle an the3 shot befor an also the I.V there to an even the cather when it reach the heart,to be honest I thought I was going to pass out from it,but after it was all done I got good news that my heart an everything was great nothing was stopped up,an my heart was in great shape praise the Lord,it was a lot of pain to find out the but in the long run it was worth it,thanks to the sweet name of Jesus Christ,He told my wife it was stress an nerves that was causeing my chest pain,he said that it will cause a heart attact too,so im trying not to be so stressed out so much,An I would like to let everyone knoe that Huey is doing great also,just being a kid an thats the way we like it an all praises we give to the sweet name of Jesus Christ for the miracle he gave us,so thank you all for all of those prayers that has been coming our way,God has answered them all that you all an God Bless,We'll update very soon..........

Just wanted to drop a line an say hello an to let you all know that Huey is still doing great,
We dont have any appointments until next month,an that is to see his doctor in Knoxville Tenn,on the 8th of July,praise the Lord nothing until then.
I wanted to let everyone know that I went to see the heart doctor yesterday an he set me an appointment up this thursday to have an heart catheterization in surgery at 7;30 am he said that he really didnt know what it was but he was concerned when a 32 year old comes in to his clinic with chest pain,he also said it could be a blockage or it could or may have to put stents in or around my heart,he said he would know when he does the surgery an if he found anything he would do it right there an then,so i'll know this thursday morning with whats going on,an i'll update then ok,an again thank all of you for all of those prayers that you have been praying......

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to drop everyone a quick update to let everyone know how little Huey is doing,
Well he is doing just great no problems at all,we have tried his arm an leg braces that he is suppose to wear at night an he will not wear them at all,
I dont much blame him his arms an legs are locked in one position all night long,
So what they are going to do is try a differant type of braces when we go to see them next month.
Over all he is just doing so great an acting like a normal 4 year old is suppose to act like,He is so happy that his birthday is coming up soon,on June 21st he will be the big 5 getting to be a old man lol,but over all we are happy that he is responding to the growth hormone shots very well,
When you pray always remember him in your prayers as you can see God has answered all of your prayers that you have prayed,thank you all so much,I also have an appointment to see the heart doctor this monday at Lexington Ky to try to get to the bottom of all of the test that shows that most of the lower half of my heart is not working,I stay really tard all of the time an when I try to walk or exert myself to get my heart rate up it feels like someone is cutting my air off or setting on my chest,its not such a feeling at all,so were going to hopefull get someone that will find out what is going on with my heart,so when you pray,pray that God will heal it,I will update again in a few day or so ok,God bless all of you for your prayers.........

Hello everyone,
Well we just got our blood work back from the doctors tonight,Hueys WBC's 8.2 his Hgb was 11.7 an his Platlet count was 468,000 all were wonderful,Thank you Jesus,
We also had all of the measurements done an the doctors got those back an was so pleased with them he said no new meds will be added,another Praise the Lord.
Huey has gained 2 an 3/4 pounds an grew about an inch,an if your reading this your saying probley that isnt much but for him it a miracle from Heaven,because he hasnt grew or gained one ounce in about 3 years now,another praise the sweet name of Jesus.
The only thing was they made him braces for both of his arms an legs an its not bad at all,All he has to wear them is when he is asleep,not at all throught the day,just when he goes to bed.
One reason I hadnt got to update Hueys sight was we got home last Wednesday evening an it went fine until Thursday evening until I started having server chest pains so I went straight to the ER because one whole side went completly numb not much feeling in my left side at all,so they done the test after my chest pain completly quite,what an E.R right,
So I went to my doctor the next day an he put me stright in an said he was going to treat it like I had just had a heart attact,so they done test for 2 days an shots of blood thinner meds in my stomach an when they got all the test back an it showed that half of my heart was dead or not working at all,he said it was the whole lower half,so now I have to go to another state to see a heart doctor,what fun,I seen him yesterday an he was very rude to me an I didnt like it im setting there after being in the hospital an travel all this way an all he can do is smart off for no reason,what a doctor,lol,but anyway I have to go an have more test done next week on my heart,so please pray they turn out ok,or they find out what the problem is.
As for my wife Sandy she is doing great,still a very loving an caring wife an mother to our children an a wonderful wife to me,I feel so greatful to have such a wonderful wife,an altogether I feel so blessed to have so great of a family,Sandy my wife,MaryBeth our 9yr old girl,an yes Our Little Miracle Huey Jr,with all that we have went through with Huey an his sickness,an our little girl MaryBeth being born over 2 months early an Natisha our 2nd child being born an not making it,through all the we have be through we can hold our heads up an say we are BLESSED by God,He has been our source of strenght throught it all,An Jesus I do praise you for everything you have done for us an brought us throught,An I want to say thank you all for praying for little Huey,for that thank you,I will update soon ok,thank you all...................

Hi first vist is 11:ooam to see the bonemarrow doctor,an then at 1:00pm we have to see thegrowth hormone doctor to see if these shots are helping or not,an then at 3:00pm we have to see the physical therphyist to have every joint measured an all of these test along with some more there talking about doing will determan if an how to treat this GVHD,He has alredy had the GVHD after the transplant,but it came back worser the next time it was this time called Chronic Graft Verses Host Disease,an they seem to think that it is getting worser instead of better,so were in the dark about it until monday or tuesday when we get the test,an know then what to do,But we do know someone thatis able to change the situation all the way around,his name is Jesus an he is able to do it,Praise the Lord,so were going to leave tomorrow if they have a room at the Ronald Mac House for us,because of the long drive down there,some people ask us if the Gvhd cannot be treated what then well they say his joints will keep drawing until he is unable to move or do anything with an of his joints at all,his arms an legs will draw completely up an then there is no medicane know that will undo it then,if it moves to his internal organs then one at a time will shut down an still no medicane can help,but were going in faith that this does not happen that Jesus will move in this befor we even get there,He said in his word that by his stripes we were an we are healed,an that is what we going in faith believeing,Praise the Lord,Jesus is our real Doctor because he is the only one that can perform miracles still today an forever more,I just wanted everyone to know what to pray for an what to pray agaist ok,pray he gets off of the meds an nomore any chronic graft verses host disease,pray that there will be no bad news ok,we will update tuesday or wednesday ever which day we hear something,we will update,an again think you everyone for your prayers.........

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update to let everyone know how Hueys appointment went yesterday,well we finally got to see an speciallist on Hueys foot,where it is drawing to one side,`Well we went in an had all of the xrays took an then went back to the doctors office to see what he had to say,he said that there was a bone on the top of his foot( dont remember the name just know where it is)an it is causing his foot to turn downward an sideways,well after examing his xrays he said that with this type of of a problem he does surgery an trim the bone an put pins in his foot,so he said an he decided not to do the surgery right now to just hold off for a little longer,he told us since he was not having no pain right now he would wait,he told us to come back in 6 months an he would check it again,just to keep an eye on it now,Praise the Lord,we also ask him if he would out grow this problem an he said that he would not, that he would have to have it fixed later but not now,that Huey has been through too much right now to put him through this right now,praise the Lord for doctors that has compassion for these little children,we still are waiting on word from our doctor in Nashville tenn on when this month to bring Huey down for the week of testing on his Chronic graft verses host disease,so as soon as we get the schedule we will let everyone know ok,God Bless you all for all of your prayers..................

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update on Hueys progress,well we started the growth hormone shots tomorrow is the beginning of the 3rd week for them,an i've got to say he takes them everyday like a little man an i'm so proud of him.
He gets up of the morning an says look at me im growing so big,an we tell him man just look at you now,he is so excited about thinking he is bigger it excites me to watch him,
With all that Huey has went through since he was 13 month old an them only giving him 30% chance in the beginning an tellin us that after the unrelated bonemarrow transplant,they could only give him 3 months to survive or as they put,a few more months to be with us,I look at his everyday an say WOW what an awesome God we serve,that has turned that3 months into over 2 years since being diagoised with the AML M7 leukemia back in July 1999,I look at my son everyday an my inspiration to go on an not to give up because he didnt give up even know by world means he should have been dead back about 2 to 3 years ago,
Now I ask you isnt God an AWESOME God,in my book there is noone to compre to him,not one person can even come close to Jesus Christ,We do have to take Huey to Nashville on the 21st of May for a whole week of testing,to see what there going to do with the meds they may change him over to or add to these he is already on,it will be for the chronis graft verse host disease,we will know when we get there an they do all of the test,All of our faith is in Jesus an his word,so please say a prayer for him when you pray,God bless you for your prayer an thoughts...............

We wanted to update an let everyone know that we didnt get to have the eye surgery this week,due too my wife getting sick an the doctors decided not to go throught with it because he might have got the virus also,so they said they didnt want a repeat of what happen to have last month with his eyes being swolen so bad,so we have to resechedule it next month,be in prayer for him,an we also got news from our doctor today,an even know it wasnt the news that we wanted to hear were still praiseing God anyway,the news was that we have to go back to Nashville Tenn,an that news was that they got all of the reports back oh his legs an arm measurements,They told us that it looks like his Cronic Graft Host Disease wasnt getting any better,that it even looked like it was getting worse,we dont even really know what to say except Jesus you will have to take care of it,We really do depend on Jesus for help in all of life situations,all we know know is we have to go down an stay a week for testing,maybe skin biopsys,braces,an a whole lot of other tests,so the week is on May 12th an that whole week,so be in prayer for him ok,we will update whenever we get more news ok,God bless you all for your prayers.....Our prayers is that we will get a break off of the meds,he is on right now counting the growth horme shots he starts net week,he is on 10 meds a day 2to3 times aday,an after the trip to Nasville they told us he would be on more powerful drugs then he is on now,so please be in prayer for him ok,God bless you for your prayers........

Just a quick update on Huey,we'll we got his labs on his platlets an after 3 time going to the lab an 6 blood draws it showed they were really good,praise the Lord,it was around 300,000 an that was great,got to say it again Praise the sweet name of Jesus,alright,Do you know that the devil is out as the bible says to kill,steal,an to destory,an if he can he will try to do that to each an everyone of us,well I refuse to let him do that to my child or my family,God gave them to me because he loves me so much,an im not going to let the enemy or the devil to come in an destory what God has blessed us with,so please believe that when sickness comes its not God doing it to you it's the devil trying to steal your blessing from you an your family,the bible says that satan is afraid of the very name of Jesus,you see there is power in his name,The name of Jesus,all you have to do is have faith an believe,that is all it takes,remember God loves you so much,an while im on here Huey's eye surgery is March the 25th at 7oclock,they are going to remove the last of the cataracts on his left eye an do an implant also,so were happy to finelly going to get this out of the way,an were also waiting on news if medicade is going to cover his growthhorme shots that we have to give everyday,We have still a lot of stuff going on with Huey with the graft verse host disease,But I would like everyone to know that we still believe that Jesus will take care of this also,He is the healer of all diseases an illness,We trust an have faith,that is what I would like you that read this,is to just trust an believe in Jesus Christ,he is the supplier of all your needs,May God bless you each an everyone...........

Just wanted to drop a line or two to let everyone know how Huey is doing an how the trip to Vanderbilt in Nashville Tenn went,well first off they goofed up his appointments there,
First off after we got there,an found out his appointment wasnt until the next day,an when we went in to see the doctor for blood work,it came back that his platlets were down to 47,000 an we were shocked to see that,when his platlets are always around 275,00 an above,the doctor was worried that he may have relapsed,so he said to redo the labs again,an we'll see what they say,so another blood stick again,by the way this was the 3rd stick to get the 2nd lab work,so we waited a little while the whole time we were praying an depending on Jesus for a miracle again that this lab work was wronge,a miss reading of the labs,about 15 to 20 minutes later we get the labs back an it showed his white blood cells were down by now an his platlets were down even more to around 40,000 an the rest of his labs were completely down,so the doctor came in an said lets please try it one more time an hope these were wronge because his labs about 3 weeks ago were good,the thing about AML M7 leukemia is your labs will be good today an next week your 80% leukemia thats how fast this leukemia move through your body,believe us we have seen it in our son so many times over,he has relapsed 3 times from it,The doctor told us to go an see the physical therphyist an he would get these labs later an we could call him early the next morning,so we go to the physical therphyist for mesurements an see the doctor on getting his feet measured for braces,so we got to see the therphyist an the doctor on his feet wasnt in after a 5 to 6 hour trip up there he an all of those doctors over that was gone to Seattle for a meeting,so all we could do is come back to the Ronald Mac House an wait,so while we were waiting we drove up to TBN studios an looked around,an boy was it beautiful,Paul an Jan really done a beautiful job there,so we went back an got up the next morning an called the doctor an asked what the lab results were,an they said his platlets were around 250,000 an everything else wereback to normal,Now isnt God an awesome God,You see the devil is out to discourage you if he can,he would have love to have brought this leukemia back on little Huey,but you see we have the promise of the word of Jesus Christ,that by his stripes we are healed,Jesus bore the stipes befor going up Calvarys hill so the we could an would be healed,an I know that Jesus will take care of this graft verses host disease also,there is no doubt in my mine,all I know is he will take care of it,they also said he was still 29 lbs an he hadnt gained any weight in about 2 years now,so were waiting on growth hormone shot to get here this week,an we have to start giving him shots every day for I dont know how long,All I know is were depending on Jesus an his word to get us through,because my God is an awesome God,we have the date on his next cataract an implant surgery,its on the 25th on this month at 7am so remember him in your prayers when you pray,Alway remember this verse when you pray its in Psalms an it says that weeping may endureth for a night but JOY cometh in the morning, this is a very powerful verse that will help you through your situation that your going through,we have had a long week it seems like an thank God it over,so we will update again soon,an again thank you all for your prayer an thoughts,God bless you all,,,,,

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to update Huey's page an let you know whats going on this week,well first off we had his eye doctor appointment this week,
An we got an good report,an they are ready to go ahead with the next cataract an implant surgery as soon as possible,Praise the Lord.
we will set up an date on that within the next couple of weeks.
An tomorrow or monday March the 3rd we have to travel to Vanderbilt clinic in Nashville Tenn,to see the bonemarrow doctor for blood work,an they said a skin biospy,to determine if the chronic graft verses host disease is still in remission,or have gone away,we vote gone away,in the Holy name of Jesus Christ we believe it has took its flight an left the body,Amen,
we also have to see the physical therphyist,an another therphyist,on his feet,an plus a doctor on his left an right feet to see about makeing braces for them,this we will know when we see them,they said we would be up there for a week,an were going in great exspectations,or in other words,were believeing for a miracle on our sons behalf,because our God is a mighty big God.
There is a few more things there talking about doing while were there,an we will know I guess when we get there an they give us the orders of what there going to do,
We have no worries about the test,or what there going to do,because we know that God is on the job,an when he is,there shouldnt be any worries,because he bigger then the problem,Amen,
So when you pray this week just remember Huey in your prayers ok.
My prayers is that we have encouraged someone out there,that is going through something.
I just want you to know that God is bigger that that situation you are going through,an he is about to give strengh,when you need strengh,he is an awesome God,so please depend on him an he will see you through your problem.

Can everyone say praise the Lord,well we should be able too,we have learnt that if we praise the Lord in the bad times,its easyer to praise the Lord in the good times also,Yes if you are asking if we were praiseing Jesus when my little boy was diagoised with leukemia,Yes we did,an through all of the other thing that he went through,yes we did,an we started praiseing him even harder when they gave him 3 months to live,an was told that no other child has survived a bonemarrow transplant like he got,an through that we praised him even more,We have to be like Job in the bible,even know we have lost everthing,Job just keep on beliveing that God would deliver him,An that is what we have done with our son,just believe that Jesus would deliever us a miracle,not knowing how or when,but believeing he would,Huey's eyes are doing great,he is able to see perfect out of them both,he goes off of the eye medicane tomorrow an then we have to see the eye doctor next week for a follow up,an then on the 3&4th of next month we have to go an have a check-up to see the bonemarrow doctor,Just a check-up,no problems THANK YOU JESUS,I just want everyone to know how important it is too give God all of the praise all of the time,Praise is a vitale part of life,an we all have something to praise him for,you see if you woke up this morning then you have something to praise him for,you see its that simple,I would like to give God praise for looking over my family an keeping our faith stronge,An I would like to say thank you to my Pastor Rev.David Rice an his wife sister Mary Rice for being one of the most caring an devoted pastors that I have had the pleasure of being with,Also Asst.Pastors Norman Cornelius,an his wife,an also Paul Long an his wife,an the the whole church for there love an support through all that we have been through lately,we have only been there about 5 months,an I would like to say that it feels like we have been ther for that last 23 years,that is due to the love that they show there,they show the love of God in there lifes,an in the church an for that I would like to say thank you COMUNITY HARVEST TABERNACLE CHURCH,We love you all with all of our hearts,i would like to say to each an everyone of you that have said a prayer for Huey over the last 3 plus years THANK YOU an God Bless,We love you each an everyone,you are always in our prayers everyday........until the next update God Bless..

Hello everyone,
Well were do I start from,Well here goes,on my last update I had told you all that Hueys eyes were bad an we had to take him to see the eye,Well here is why we couldnt update for since the last time I wrote on here,We went in to see the eye doctor last friday due to Hueys eyes were completely shut an could not see out of them at all,he was unable to open then an the infection was horrible,his right eye was swelled so big that he looked like his eye lid was stretched over an 20 oz pop bottle lid,an his left was matted together solid,an when the doctor first saw him,he said oh my God,im calling your cancer doctor,an having you put in,he said that he wanted an catscan of his eye,because it was so big,he was scared that there might have been an pocket of infection behind his eye,an we knew that would not be good,so we started to travel to Knoxville Childrens Hospital,like we have done in an out of the hospital for the last almost 4 years,So we got there about 530 an was in the ER for about5 hours,so why we were there they done the catscan,an when we got to the room,they came in an told us that there was no tumors or infections,so praise report on that,that you Jesus,then they told us we would only be there for 2 to 3 days,an as you see it was much longer then that,he was unable to see out of his eyes from last thursday to tuesday,an he didnt let on like it was a big deal that he couldnt see,we'll in the mean while they in the ER were trying to get I.V antibotics started,an after 6 sticks success,thank you Jesus,an off to the room we went,they started him on some very stronge meds throught the I.V's,so the couple of days ran into 7 days of fevers no eye sight an late night blood draws(4;30am blood draws),to be honest with everyone we were used to the hospital stays,we stayed in this same room 12 weeks at one hospital stay,an about the same stay in several other rooms,there was other things that keep on going wronge with him,An do you know Jesus was right there with us,he was our babys protecter in the very time of trouble,So Jesus I give you all of the praise an glory,We got out today about 4 oclock,so it was 7 days total,an throught it all I was encouraged in an mighty way,Jesus has strenghtened me spiritually,an physically,Huey continues to get better everyday,his foot is sore where he had the IV in his foot for the last 7 days,he is home an were so happy,We are going to church sunday moring an sunday night,praise the Lord,were just so happy that were home,an he is doing great,I would like to say thank you all for stopping by an writeing on his web page an showing how much you do care about him,So thank you for all of the prayers,I will update in a day or two to let you all know how his progress is doing,right now he is on a special med that last for 7 days,so keep those prayers coming his way ok,Thank you holy sweet Jesus,I love you an I praise you with all of my heart,i'll update in a day or two ok,,,,,,,GOD BLESS YOU ALL,EACH AN EVERYONE...We love you all

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to update on Hueys eye's,We went in to see the doctor,an when he looked at his eye,he said that he had an infection that works like an flu virus,yes we know a flu virus in the eye,but its true there were about 20 he said already in his office with it,an to be honest its not nice to look at,he also said it was easy cought an spread also,he said the highs is that it will start to go away in 7 days an the lows are it will probley spreadto the other eye,well guess what has happened today,it spreaded,we have been trying to get ahold of the doctor all day,an no luck,an now both eyes are shut solid,he has had them open about 5 minutes since yesterday,so now we have to take him in tomorrow to see the eye doctor again,but little Huey keeps saying Jesus is healing he right daddy,an I say yes baby he is doing the job for you,an Jesus is doing it praise the Lord,our God is an awesome God,yes he is,I really dont know what else to say tonight,but we'll know somemore tomorrow when we talk to the doctor,so when you pray remember Huey's eyes in your prayers,right now he cannot see at all out of either of them,there swelled pretty back,so please say a prayer for him,an hopefully we'll see an differance in his eyes tomorrow,until then God bless each an everyone of you,Our love goes out to each an everyone of you,God bless...........

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to drop an line on Hueys surgery,well we didnt get to go an do it this morning,because he started to run an tempture last night,an his eye was shut completly due to the infection that was in it last night,so we had to call the surgery dept an tell them we couldnt make it,so now we have to take him in an see the doctor tomorrow at 3:15 an see what kind of infection it is,well anyway Praise the Lord,Hueys eye looks better this afternoon anyway,He looked at me this evening an said these words in an wonderful way,Jesus is healing me right now daddy,an I said yes baby he is doing the job right now,an Jesus was doing it because his swelling went all the way down too,Praise the Holy name of Jesus,Huey is only 4 years old an he is always incouraging me when he talks about Jesus healing him,he says that Jesus is right here with him an taking care of him always,an that is so true with him an all of us,he's always there anytime we need him day or night,I know he has been there for us,in the good time's an in the bad time's also,he's that good of a God,I will update tomorrow about the doctors report on the infection in his eye,an what there going to do about it ok,until then I hope we have encouraged someone out there that is going through this or something like it,to keep on going on an not to give up,because there is someone out there that care so much for you an his name is Jesus Christ,an so do we your always in our prayers,God bless you all,,,,,

Just wanted to give an quick update on Hueys eye surgery,it is set for tomorrow morning at 7 oclock am,but the thing is the eye they done has swelled a little over the last few days so we have to still go to surgery dept in the morning an the doctor is going to check it an see if it is infection an make sure that it has not affected his eye that is having the cataracts removed an the implant put in,so we will know in the morning about 7;30am if they will or not do the surgery,so praise the Lord anyway,we serve an awesome God an God that is bigger then the eye infection an a whole lot bigger then the situations that we go throught everyday,all I know is Jesus has it all in control,an all we can say is Praise the Lord,I will update tomorrow an let everyone know,please remember him in your prayers,because your always in ours,God bless each an everyone....

Hello everyone,
We wanted to let everyone know how Huey was doing after his cataract an implant surgery went on his eye,Well we went to the doctor yesterday an he done the tests on his left eye to see how it looked or how the implant went,When he was done he said he was so pleased with it that he wanted to go ahead an do the other eye sooner they expected,he told us that Huey didnt have to do the 3 weeks of eye drops we could stop them in 6 days( can someone say praise the Lord an Glory To The Name of Jesus Christ) I know we can,an that is what were saying an have been for a long time,even through the hard times also,The doctor also told us that this was the quickest he has seen someone recover from an cataract an implant surgery,again,(Praise the Lord)We give Jesus praise for everything that we have went through an everything that he has brought us through,some people think us to be crazy for praising Jesus for everthing,but we do praise him,because with all of the trails an troubles that we have went through,our little Huey not suppose to live no longer then 3 months,an has been 29 months leukemia free an still going on praise the Holy name of Jesus,an even know the world says give up I say to the world no way no chance no how,For the very reason Jesus never gave up on us,an for me an my family were not about to give up on him neither,We just love Jesus with our whole hearts,the doctor told us to come back in 2 weeks an he would measure his eye so that they would have the exact implants for the other eye,So as soon as we hear when the other eye will be done we'll let everyone know,We really do thank everyone for your prayers an thought,God bless you each an everyone,I would like to say to everyone that reads this an you have a prayer request an or someone sick please write me either on this web sight or through my address that is on this page an leave me a message an or name an what is wronge with you or them,I promise you I will pray for you an your very special need,wheither it sickness or something else,the reason is that im going to combind my faith with your that you would recieve your healing your strenght,so please write me an an let me know an I will write you back an check on you an the situation,until you recieve your blessing,God bless you....

Hello everyone,
We wanted to let everyone know how Hueys cataract surgery went today,He had to be there at 7 oclock an they got him in about 9:30am the surgery was about 15 to 20 minutes,an it went smooth,the doctor said that it looked good enought that he hoped it would last him at least 2 years,but our hope is in Jesus Christ an we pray that he never goes through this again ,we have an appointment tomorrow to have the patch took off of his eye,an the doctor will see if everything looks ok,he also said that Huey had to be inactive or not playing or bending his head over for an week due to the implants in his eye,an we also went to the clinic this week an his wbc were 13.42 an his platlets were 462,000 an also no leukemia still in remission,Praise the Lord, as you can see they are pleased as we were with the labs,we have to go an see the bonemarrow doctor next month in Nashville an we also have to see an specialist on his left foot,an the therphyist to measure his arms an legs,so were just going an trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ,when you pray remember him in your prayers ok,we will update as soon as we hear more from the doctors..

He set the eye surgery on Jan 7th at 7oclock,he said that he would remove the cataracts from one eye at a time,one eye in january an the other eye in feburary,an then he would get glasses,Huey is excited he is getting glasses,an were excited he is going to be able to see better,Praise the Lord,I wonder if everyone really understands how good Jesus is,I know I do,We hope that this christmas season everyone unwraps the season of love an hope in Jesus Christ,because with out him there would be no hope,We hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas this season,because if you will stop an think you have a lot to be Merry about this year.

We just wanted to let everyone know how Huey was doing,Well to say in words praise the Lord,he is doing great,
The doctors said he has made a full recovery,an there is no symptoms of anything ever being wronge,Thank you sweet JESUS.
I would like to say that me an my wife have so much to be thankfull for this year,we have a beautiful girl Marybeth that is 9 years old,an we have a little boy that Jesus has healed of leukemia,an we are so blessed to have with us another christmas,Thank you Jesus,they said he had only 3 months to live,an that was all they could give him because of the Aml M7 leukemia,But god proved them wronge an it has been 28 months an still going, PRAISE THE SWEET NAME OF JESUS,
God is so good,God is so awesome,god is great,I have learnt to depend on him an not what man has to say.
The reason for that is if we have depended on man our little boy would not be here,
So we started to depend completly on Jesus an what his word says an look at the outcome,glorious isnt it,God is Glory,an he deserves all of the praise an glory,our little boy is healed of leukemia.
We would like for all that read this to be encouraged,that Jesus is an overcomer,he said in the word that he has already overcome the world,so please just trust an believe in him an his word,an if you dont read the bible please begin to read an believe every word of it to be true,because believe me it is, I have a walking testamony to Gods word that it works,he is 4 years old,an will tell you that Jesus has healed him,Praise the Lord,

We have an appointment Thursday morning to see the eye doctor to set up the surgerys to have the cataracts removed from his eyes,so we will know more on that thursday an then pray for me I have got to have surgery on my right leg that same day to see what the problem is,they said it would only take an hour to do it an then he would know what the problem was,so be in prayer mainly for little Huey,an his eyes ok,we'll post more when we find out this Thureday ok,

Hello everyone,
I would like to update everyone on little Huey's situation that happen sunday night. First off, Sunday night the kids got sick. I mean really sick, with the vomiting, throwing up everything, by Monday morning our little girl was ok but still a little weak from the sickness but well on her way to full recovery, not so lucky with little Huey. We first thought he was a little weak from the all night sickness an thought that he would recover that morning. You know, 24 hour flu an everything ok the next morning. Well, he was not so lucky monday morning. Around 10 or 11:00 oclock he was unresponsive to us at all, his eyes were rolled back in his head an bright an glassly, not a very good sign at all. We called the doctor an told them to call the E.R, so by then we were on our way to the local hospital,with Huey limp in our arms, still not responding to us at all. They rushed him back to the E.R an started fluids, they called Childrens Hospital in Knoxville,Tenn. They stuck him so many times that day in the ER it was miserable. They told us that his levels were off the chart. His blood sugar was down to a 10 an we knew that was dangerously low and a possiblity going into a sugar coma. Well, not much more could have happened they tell us, they decided that they didn't want to waste time so they said they would fly him out by life star to Knoxville Tenn. We were very scared because we have never seen our child this bad sick,not even when he took the worse chemo that was known or when he had the bonemarrow transplant. Then we knew it was really bad,so they flew him out monday at 1:30pm, we drove straight over to Childrens Hospital. When we got there, they were trying to get I.Vs in him, but because he was so dehydrated they couldn't get one started, so they sent him up to the N.I.C.U unit. After they got one started they started fluids again, his blood sugar dropped again,so they gave him meds for that an those levels were ok for the time being, we came out of the NICU the night about 11:30, it began the recovery of this virus, this was the first hospital stay in 2 years. I would love to praise God for being there with us through the scary situation,we went through a lot this week an god improved my little boy everyday, he got better everyday from that day on, the doctor said that it was some kind of virus. The reason it caused the baby this kind of problems was all of the meds from the bonemarrow transplant, mainly the steriods an because he has been on them for over 2 years. Right now, as of today, Friday, he has fully recovered an everything is back to normal,all of the blood work shows nothing wronge with him,(PRAISE YOU JESUS)I would like to say thank you all at Childrens Hospital,an to the nurses, an PCA'S that was there that day, God bless you all, you all do a wonderful job at being the best nurses ever. WE speak for everyone, keep up the good work( we love an respect you all )An to everyone from Community Harvest Church, We say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts,(Our pastor David Rice came an stayed with us while we were at the ER the long an bad monday,an gave us the best support an love we have ever seen from anyone,the church also showed us so much love through this. Just wanted to drop you all a few lines,an let you all know how the eye doctor visit went,we went in an the doctor dilated his eyes an then checked them,he first off noticed the cataracts an how big they were(just a trick of the devil,still wont work)he said he did not understand why Huey was able to see anything or be around light because they were so big,well i'll stop there an let everyone know why he was able to see(JESUS CHRIST is the reason why he can still see through the cataracts an be able to do more then they say)they want us to come back on Nov.12 an he will give us more infomation on what day there going to set the surgery on his eyes,his surgery will be one eye one month an the other the next,he said that he would have to wear glasses after both eyes are done,he said he will let us know more when we come in on the 12th of Nov.I give God praise for all that we have went through an all that he has brought us through,because without him it would not have been possible for us to be here writing an telling people about the goodness of God,People if you read this an you dont know Jesus Christ,please try him,I promise you,You will not regret it,he is the best thing that you will ever have in your life,

An then we went an seen another phycical therphyist,on one of his feet an now we have to see another doctor on his foot in about 4 to 5 weeks,all they said because it was turning sideways was that they may have to put an cast on it one day an have an special brace made for it,all we know is were not about to set back an let the devil defeat us in anyway whatsoever. We just dont give up that easy.
We know one thing an that is Jesus has it all in control,an we totally depend on him,he is our source of strenght,he is our light at the end of the tunnel,Jesus will bring my little boy through this with praises an thanks.
Me an my wife have learn one thing with all that we have went through with our first child being 2 months premature,an our secound one not making it,an our 3 one having the worse of all the leukemias,an that is we still have faith in Jesus,If we hadnt had Jesus in our lifes I dont really know what we would have done,So I would like to say a very special thank you Jesus.

Hello to all!

The doctor had called us today and they want us to come to Nashville next Thursday. We have to see the doctor & a Physical Therapist on Friday.
The Physical Therapist wants to go ahead and Fit Huey for the braces for his hands. Then we have to go back to Nashville in 6 weeks to talk to the Thyroid specialist. The Thyroid specialist wants to go ahead and start the growth hormone shots. He didn't know how long he would be on them and didn't know if he would have to take the shots everyday or not but it is something that they still have to look at.

Hello to all,
Well we have some news on his lab work,some good some not so good,well the good news is his bonemarrow is still good,100% donor an that is excellent,
An the other news is the physical therapist thinks in some areas he is getting better an in a lot of the other areas he has got worse.
She thinks that for his best is to be fitted for braces,they say that his hand an finger are not where they should be,We knew that his fingers were not straight,but we also thought they were getting better,but not by there measurement,
An his labs on his growth hormones were not where they should be,so we have to go an see an specialist on about starting shots everday,Some times I wonder if we have went through enought or not,Maybe its just me wondering that I dont know,Or maybe theres a reason,I still dont know,So to sum it all up.
We have to wait on the doctor to call us back an let us know when we have to be back in Nashville to see the doctor on his growth hormone shots an being fitted for braces,Just more doctor visits an more running,so we would like to ask who ever reads this to say a special prayer for little Huey when you can,Thank God the AML M7 leukemia is gone,We give God all of the praise............

Hello to all,
Just thought that we would update Hueys progress,as everyone that read his last web page you knew tha we were having his a 2 year celebrating on Aug,17,So we went an reserved the part at this beautiful part not many miles from home,I got up an early saturday morning an went an put reservation at the sight we had picked out,so I put something like 12 signs on it saying congraduation to Huey Jr for being 2 years leaukemia free an this sight is reserved for the celebration,an so forth put the streamer up an had it ready for the big day,An guess what some one came alone when we went home to prepare for his celebration an tore all of his signs an stuff down,now you tell me is that respect to anyone,it made me an my wife so mad an hurt that someone would do this to a 4 year old child that was celebrating something so special as this,an to top it off we went an bought enought food to feed well over 100 people an was prepared to buy more an only about 25 showed up,But anyway,I would like to say thank you to my family an my wifes family that showed up an also the 2 from church Bob an Joyce for coming,Thank you all so very much,we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts,Wehve an appintment on friday to see Dr.Frangoul the transplant doctor for a check-up an hopefully he will drop his steriods down some more an hopefully be off of them by next Janurary,We hope,Well as soon as we get the report back next week we will update again or asap,God bless you all for your prayers an support............

Hello!

Huey is still doing well!
When we took him to the doctor his counts and everything were great! He even grew 2 more cm. which makes him exactly 3 ft. tall now!!!!!

We just got back from our trip to Paramount Kings Island!
We all had a ball there! We rode lots of rides and walked alot (we were there for about 10 hours)!!!

Huey is scheduled to be in Nashville, Tenn. for his 2 year post-transplant checkup on August 23rd.
We'll only be there for that one day and then get to come back home the same day or unless we decide to stay at the RMH (Ronald McDonald House) overnight and then come back the next day.
Huey really likes the RMH! He talks about it alot, asking when is he going to get to stay at the RMH again.
They have been really Great! If it wasn't for the RMH, I really don't know what we would've done. They have been really supportive.
We have stayed at the RMH in Lexington, Ky., Knoxville, Tenn. , & Nashville, Tenn.
I thank God for places like The Ronald McDonald House!

Continue to pray for Huey's health!!!!

Hello to all!!

Huey Jr. continues to do well!!!
This past week we have went and seen "Lilo & Stitch" which was a really good movie! We also went and seen "Scooby-Doo" which we really didn't like that much, it just wasn't like the scooby-doo cartoon.
We are suppose to get to go to Paramount Kings Island (In Cinn. Ohio) this weekend! We are leaving out on Friday and staying with one of my Aunts and then going to Kings Island on Saturday!!
We finally got our "Disney World" pictures back yesterday! They really turned out great!! We still have about 6 more rolls of film left to develop, we can't wait to see those too!

We have to take Huey Jr. back to the doctor Tuesday (the 23rd) for his monthly checkup.

Tomorrow is mine(Sandy) & my Husbands' (Huey Sr.) 9th Marriage Anniversary!!!
I'D LIKE TO WISH HUEY A HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
I REALLY THANK GOD FOR MY HUSBAND!! HE IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON THAT I LOVE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!

Hello everybody!!!

All of Huey's lab reports came back normal!! He even grew 4 more centimeters!!!!
We took off and spent the weekend at Pigeon Forge Tennessee, in a cabin!
While we were there, we went through the Great Smokey Mountains and into Cherekee North Carolina!! We stopped at lots of Exibits, site seeing. We even ventured over to a place, actually, two places that had Go-Carts & some kid rides that you could ride, So, that is what we decided to do!! The kids really enjoyed it, they kept begging us to ride more but we had spent all we were going to spend on the Go-Carts, although, they were fun! but it cost a fortune to ride those things!

Hello everybody!

Today was Huey Jr's 4th Birthday!!!!
3 more years than what he was suppose to have lived, medically speaking, But The Lord has a Great work for him to do, which he is already doing, that is touching many lives and showing people that God really does exsist and living on that Great White Thone!!
We took Huey to the park today to celebrate his Birthday!
He really enjoyed himself!
When we got to the cake, I lit the candle, while everybody sang "Happy Birthday", He said that he was just too tired to blow out the candle, so I had to do it for him!!!
He just didn't want to sit down, he wanted to play until he just couldn't play anymore!!
Thanks for the words of encouragements that you all leave, it really encourages us when we know that We're encouraging someone else!! Keep praying for us that we'll stay strong and continue staying in the Will of the Lord!!!
We will be taking Huey to the Doctor June 25th for his monthly checkup. We'll let you know how everything turns out!

Just thought we would update on Hueys trip to the doctors tuesday,we got the labs back an praise god it was all wonderful,his labs were up an the doctor said that our next visit we would have to see the thyroid doctor in June,so were asking for your prayers to keep coming Hueys way,all it is to make sure that his thyroids are working right,they keep telling us that he will have to have shots to help him grow,but when they do the lab work it always come back perfect,an they just dont understand that jesus has it all in control,Maybe one day they will understand,The most important thing is that we know who is in control,an it is Jesus,an by the way we have new pictures of the baby an his trip to disney,an we still waiting on the rest of the others to come back,we will update as often as we can,we would like to know if you stop by an read the babys web sight,please if you do write an let us know on his page,we would love to hear from you,our main goal is help someone that is going through this or something like this,we would like to hear from you.......

Hello,
We thought that we would write an let everyone know how the trip went,it was wonderful,the flight was good an the landing was even better,THANK YOU JESUS,Huey really didnt care at first for the flight but the second one he really liked,An when we got at the Give the kids the world villiage,he really loved it they were so nice to us,he got to do anything that he wanted to do there,an when we got there they gave us the tickets for all 4 disney parks plus sea world,an 2 tickets to universal studios an we got to take him to 5 out of 7 parks an he was so excited to see Mickey & the gang that there is not enough words to explain on his web sight,All I can say in this journal is he an all of us had a blast,It was the best time that we have had in almost 3 years an we took advantage of it,we have pictures of the trip(240) to be exact,an there being developed by Knoxville City Police department so (thank you all)an we'll have those in about a week,we will put them on as soon as we get them back,an we have an appointment with the doctor tuesday to have blood work an we'll update then on his lab work,so I again would like to say thank you all for th prayers that have went out for Huey & us THANK YOU ALL.....

Just wanted to update everyone on Huey's labs today,when we went to get the medicane today they had to stick him 4 times today befor they found an place for the I.V it was very hard to sat there an watch my child being stuck for the 4th time,To be honest it broke me an my wifes heart to se him stuck that many times at once,They have an hard time due to his veins are scared from so many times bing stuck with i.v's an blood work,but he got the medicane done an overwith.
We got the labs back too an his,

Hi everyone just thought we would let everyone know that we have pictures now of Huey,stop by an see our little miracle an then if you dont care stop by an write in his guest book to let us know that you stopped by,Just thought we would let everyone know how Huey was doing,So far everything is still going well,they told us that we have to be in Knoxville,Tenn on tuesday morning to have a special medicane that is called IBUM,in short terms it is an immune builder they say that his immune system is bottomed out,but they also said that he would have to have this medicane about every month for maybe years an he hasnt had it in 20 months,so what does that say,I know,God is still in control,we just wanted to give everyone an update on what was expected,This will be the first time that he has had an I.V since Jan,2001 when they took his port out of his chest,so were going to be there all day for the medicane,an blood work too,an as soon as we get home we'll update everyone on his progress,keep little Huey in your prayers ok.....

Have we got some wonderful news,as you know we went to Nashville to Vanderbilt Childrens Clinic to have the skin biospy to see if the chronic graft verses host disease or (GVHD) was still there or if it was gone,An the glorious news is that its GONE," PRAISE GOD ITS GONE" they said that there was no sign of it at all,an there going to keep him on his meds for another 12 months just as an precaution just to make sure that the GVHD will not come back,an we refuse to believe that it will come back,So we just wanted to update everyone on his progress an to give a heavenly praise report,We are going to take the baby back to doctors for lab work this month an we'll update asap,An I would like to thank evryone that has been praying for little Huey,because your prayers has worked,SO I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A BIG GOD BLESS YOU ALL......

Hi everyone,
Just thought I would drop a few lines to let everyone know how Huey was doing,an what were getting ready for on the 26th of this month,we are going to take the baby back to Vanderbilt Chldrens Clinic in Nashville,Tenn for a check-up an a skin biospy to see if the chronic graft verses host disease is gone an to start the cut down of the steriods,an the other meds too.
It will take about a week for the test results to come back an when they do we'll post them on the web sight,an I would like to say that my baby graduated his physical therphy last week,he had been taking therphy because of the GVHD an that has been ever since 9/20/2001,They told us that he was almost back to normal limits with his arms an legs,So that is a good report too,We will report more on his progress as soon as we hear about his test results next week,As for now he is 18 months leukemia an were praiseing God for it,because he is the one that gets all of the credit,PRAISE GOD,We would like to thank everyone for praying for little Huey,an we would like for you to continue to be praying for him.....

Have we got wonderful news,we went to the doctor tuesday an they drew the labs as usally an when we got them back his WBC'S were 9.80 praise the lord an his RBC'S were 4.17 thank you jesus,his HGB was 13.8 well glory an his Platlets were 387,000 an were giving God all of the glory,We do have an appointment to see the bonemarrow transplant doctor sometimes in march to have a skin biospy,to see an to make sure that the chronic graft verses host disease is going away,which we know it is because we trust totally in God an his promises,an we quote his word quit often,an the one we use often is in Isaiah 53:5 an 1Peter 2:24 an it simpley says by his stripes we are healed,it is a very powerful verse for a healing if you trust,believe,an just have faith,these are the main things to getting that healing or what we call a miracle from God,You cant do one without the other it takes all three working together to produce a miracle,We will try to update an let everyone know about the appointment in Nashville Tenn at Vanderbilt Childrens Clinic,it is mainly too cut him down on his steriods,so that he can get off of the meds,an we have the date on when were going to get to take Huey JR to Disney an it is on May the 7th,an he is so excited to go an to see Mickey, WinniePool,Goofy an etc..he is just excited an everyday he asks when are we going is it tomorrow or if he see's something on Disney channel he says this,were going there right,yes baby were going there soon,But to be honest all 4 of us are excited to go its a little excitment an a whole lot better then having to go to the hospital for chemo an radiation or blood transfusion an etc..but when it is all done an said we are home an free an give my Heavenly Father our Lord an saviour Jesus Chris praise for 18 months being leukemia free,they have told us he is the longest ( AML M7 ) leukemia survivor to live this long after a bonemarrow transplant an he keeps breaking more an more records every day an like I said all praise goes to Jesus for he is the all mighty doctor,we will update as soon as we know when we are going to Nashville,an I would like to say to all of you that are praying for Huey,THANK YOU AN GOD BLESS..

We got the tests results back from the trip to Nashville. His wbc 19.6, Hgb was 13.0, His weight was still stablized at 27.2 lbs, His other counts were great too!!
When we got to Nashville they didn't do all the tests they were suppose to do. His doctor checked him out and said that his skin color was great and the mobility was awhole lot better than it was in the past.
The Doctor cut down the number of times a week of physical therapy from 4 days a week to just 1 time a week!!
We were going to See his doctor in Knoxville, TN. every two weeks and now we only have to go once a month!!!
We give God praise for the glorious reports!!

We went to have lab work today, The WBC's are 7.22, they are down from last time from 14.70, His red blood cells are 3.23, They are down from 4.65, his HGB is 10.6, that is down just a little bit also, his platlet count is 182,000 which was around 300,000+ two weeks ago, his segs were 75, his lyphocyte were 18, the reactive lymp were 5.
DR.Vicky said that the reason his counts had went down was due to him being sick over the holidays an again just a week ago with the flu like symptoms,But she said everything was ok, Praise God! We look on the bright side of it all, no leukemia cell or blasts in the blood work, For that we give God Praise.

We found out today about Huey's lab work on his growth hormone's......
Just a few weeks ago we had lab work done and the growth hormones were completely destroyed by the radiation from the bonemarrow transplant, the doctors wanted him to take the growth hormone shots once a day, up to 25 years.. We began to seek God and asking God whether he should be on these on not, We kept believing that God was going to move in this situation, just like he had moved before. We received a phone call about 11:00 a.m. this morning and they said that the test that we had them to redo last week turned out NORMAL, "Praise God"!!! They said that they were no need for him to take the growth hormone shots, that they would check him again in 3 months to see if they were still normal.
We know that the growth hormones will still be perfectly normal, because when God does a job, He don't do it half way, it is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to all! We have got the baby's blood work back, it is wonerfully good! The white blood cells are 17.07, The red blood cells are 4.07, hgb is 13.6, his platlet count is 342,000, we are over joyed!!! The reason his wbc's are so high is due to prolong use of steriods, as soon as he is off of them his wbc's will return to normal an we can't wait either, We are waiting for the rest of his test on the growth hormones to come back,they said it would take about a week or so to come back, as soon as we get the lab work back we will let everyone know. We still trust in what Isaiah said in 53:5 an it says by his stripes we are healed, That is what we're claiming, BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED, because our precious Lord an Saviour Jesus Christ came to this earth to live an die for us that we could have the right to claim his stripes an be healed. If you would like to know it's in the New Testment too in 1 Peter 2:24 so read it an claim those stripes with faith for your loved ones. We will have the rest of Huey's lab work back in a week, As soon as we do, we will write an give everyone an update. Hello to all on this glorious day that god has blessed us with,I would like to think everyone for their prayers for my child an I would like to say your prayers are paying off,Huey is 16 months leukemia free, praise god, an he has been taking physcal therphy from the new diagoises of the chronic graft verse host disease an if you don't know what it is,its the bone marrow is trying to reject the host,which is Huey. We won't except that sickness because the bible says in (Ishiah:53;5 by his stripes we are healed an it's also in 1Peter 2:24 too), You will hear us quote those scriptures quite often. The update on Huey is that he has almost got full movement in both arms and legs, they say that he is ahead of where he should be with the therphy, it's only been about 2 months so far. Praise god he's doing better than expected. I give god praise for his mercy an grace and for his awesome miracles that he still performs today. I would like to say a very special thank you to Abundant Harvest Church the Pastor Billy W. Baird his wife Tina Baird an the church for their glorious prayers that they prayed,so a big thank you all an god bless,I have so much to thank god for, For a child that is 16 months leukemia free this month, I just can't help but to say it over an over because we are so over joyed with what god has done in our lifes an for what he's going to do, I'm going to go for now, we'll have to go to clinic to get more blood work on the 18th of this month and to talk to the growth hormone doctor.
