Hello Friends and Family!

A short update:

Keaton turned 13 years old on Monday 2/6/06!!

What a great milestone. It was one that I often questioned in those early years of diagnosis and treatment. Keaton was 5 years old and in kindergarden was he was dx with high risk ALL. He completed 3 1/2 years of treatment on protocol CCG 1961, arm D (longest time and strongest meds duration) It was a very long time on treatment, but he pushed right along and survived. He completed his treatment in April 2002. It's so hard to believe that it's been 7 years since dx and almost 4 years OT. He's doing wonderful. Health is good, school work is good and he enjoys playing sports, football and lacrosse.

Both kids (Keaton and big sister Kayla 15) just returned from a weekend of Special Days Camp. This was the winter weekend for both cancer kids and siblings. My kids love going to camp and had a great time.

Keaton is due for his yearly check up next week 2/23/06 at Univerisity of Michigan Mott's Children's Hospital. I expect no surprises, just a clean bill of health. : )

Wishing you all Health and Happiness!
