Richard Guthrie Welcome to our Patient Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated. Journal Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at 07:37 PM (CDT) Well, it has been awhile since I updated on Rich, but all is going well. Rich is a sophomore in college at Ashland University. He is still majoring in secondary education with a math major/chemistry minor. He enjoys college life and has made many friends at school. His dorm situation this year is better and he lives in suite with two other guys. Last year he had a room to himself, but he much prefers this. He has joined the Ohio Rugby Union and is now playing on a club team for Ashland. The university doesn't have a team because rugby isn't sanctioned. HMMM....I wonder why. We went to watch a game and it is really quite rough. But so far no lasting ill effects from playing. His shoulder problems from last year are settling down some and he was able to work as a grounds keeper at a golf course over the summer. He has check ups every 3-4 months and they have all been good since going off treatment 6/01. Right now he appears to be having the time of his life. Wishing the best to everyone.
