Hello everyone! As most of you know, we have moved to the site noted above. However the Guestbook and Photo Album are still active, so feel free to use them!
I do have a small update!
The boys had sooo much fun Trick or Treating last night! Cameron was a Monkey, and Gabriel was Jango-Fet from Star Wars....pardon the spelling!!!
We were T&T'ing for a couple hours. Near the end, Cameron fell asleep, so we just pushed him in the stroller. We went with our friend Becki, who has two heart healthy little girls, and a little boy Cameron's age who also has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. They were so cute and had lots of fun!
Cameron is doing very well. Every day he seems to eat more and more, and is growing a lot. His weight gain still has been an issue. He's about 20 lbs. right now. Cardiac wise, he has been stable. Also, we are expecting another baby! Yipeee! Cameron's Cardiologist(Dr. Cooper) will do a Fetal Echocardiogram for us in December! At least if we are having another child with a heart defect, we won't have to hear it from a stranger this time, and it won't be a surprise. Dr. Cooper and his staff are certainly part of the family now!
Cameron is WAY ahead in his language skills. He speaks in sentances already! He will be having his 2nd Birthday in November! He is extremely intelligent, which can be VERY challenging at times....but a challenge well worth it! He has lots of energy, and enjoys doing all the things that heart healthy kids do.
Gabriel will be starting school next fall...can you believe it? UGH! MY BABY! I've already started researching schools in our area. He is doing very well, loves our new house, and is very fun to have around.
Well, that's it for now......
