Journal
Monday, June 2, 2003 2:35 AM CDT Emily has just completed 2nd grade with honors and Jack has graduated from preschool. Both are great students! It will be nice to have them in the same school and on the same schedule next year. Emily will also be celebrating her 8th birthday this June 14th at the skating rink with a handful of friends.
Emily is now two years post chemo and feeling pretty good with the exception of chronic tummy aches since her her last CT scans. Seems Emily has a hard time recovering from the side effects of barium/ready cat on her GI system. That is slowly getting better. We are all looking forward to a relaxing and fun summer together. The kids are off to Jax, FL on their first summer adventure with their grandparents (my parents) where everyday has been planned full of activities....the zoo, the science center, golf cart rides, swimming, Imax, Adventure Landing, movies, and whatever else they can squeeze in 7 days. The kids haven't even been gone a whole day and I already miss them!!!
