James 1:2-4 “Consiter it all joy, my bretheren, when you encounter vearious trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
Journal
Friday, January 11, 2008 11:14 AM CST Well the Holiday is now over. I leave for Liberty tomorrow morning. It has been a wonderful time seeing John and listening to his stories of Africa and seeing other family members. The good news is that scans were once again clear. So two 1/2 years off chemo and almost 3 years with my dear friend NED. I enjoyed going to the sunshine house this break and seeing some of my friends. I got to hang out with Tyler and see his new leg in all it's glory. (it is a nice leg!) Everything has been relaxed and calm. I was very happy to see Nurses Karen and Olivia in clinic when I went for scans. They were happy to know my plans to come to Scottish Rite once I graduate. John Has good news as he got into Angus Scott and University of Va post baccalaureate medical programs. He will be driving up with me to go a visit UVA (which is one hour away) tomorrow as well. I cut my hair short agian this break so the picture is once again not accurate. But I like the picture my friend Jenine put up for me so I'll leave it for now.
Well not much exciting news is happening, that's about it.
