Alethea Jeanette McIlrath By the grace of our Lord Jesus, We have been given the gift of life in our daughter, Alethea and it is by the grace of our Lord Jesus that we pray for the full restoration of her physical health.
Alethea was diagnosed on January 9, 2004 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and returned home on June 18, 2004. She is currently in remission.

Saturday, August 23, 2008 9:05 PM CDT We are home again safe and fairly sound. It was a good trip to St. Jude and we were blessed by the expertise offered by both Dr. Wilson and Dr. Hoehn. We are certainly trying to process all that has happened and been realized even as we rejoice in health and move ahead in the adventure of life. I am reminded of the first prayer request we put on this site over 4 and half years ago: "Pray that God will be glorified." I am just as confident of that as ever and whatever challenges Alethea may experience with her vision or potentially with cosmetic issues with her eye. I can be confident of one thing, God will be glorified in her and seeing her personally embrace that truth more and more each day along with all our children is the greatest joy and peace there is in life.
In His Grip,
Jeff for Heather, Karissa,Ian, Alethea & Elijah
