Our "Deere" Logan Welcome to our "Deere" Logan's webpage. We created this webpage to keep all of our family and friends up-to-date on how Logan was doing throughout his fight against Rhabdomyosarcoma.
Logan has been through 42 weeks of chemotherapy treatment, resection of his tumor and 23 radiation treatments. His first set of post-therapy scans were clear and we couldn't be happier. Although he is doing well right now and his body is cancer free, he will be monitored regularly for next couple of years and won't be considered "cured" until he has been cancer-free for five years. We have truly appreciated all your thoughts and prayers this past year, but ask that you please keep Logan in your prayers and pray that he stays cancer-free!

Thursday, March 10, 2005 6:50 AM CST For everyone still following Logan's story, thank you!
Last week Logan had scans again and we found out yesterday that they were all clear - he is still Cancer FREE!! God has answered all of our prayers and blessed Logan with this his healing grace. We thank you so much for your prayers and keeping up with Logan through all this time.
We go back in May, just for a check up and to see his dr. Then he'll have scans again in July - if those are clear (which I know they will be), he will be cancer free for 1 year. Quite a milestone.
I hope to get some new pictures on soon. Logan is just growing like a weed! He has gotten so tall. And he's getting quite the personality - a very happy, go-lucky kid. We're trying to work on potty training, although most of the time, he's not interested. We're very pleased that he says please, thank you and starting to say excuse me and you're welcome, without being coaxed. We are trying to instill good manners, but its so hard in the world we live in and all that he sees around him.
Thanks again for checking in on us!
