Journal

Wednesday, December 27, 2006 3:14 PM CST

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We certainly enjoyed ours! It seems our home stays quite busy these days. Brent is 13 and will be turning 14 in April, Samuel is three (will be four in March) and then little Katelyn is now 18-months-old. I think they all enjoyed Christmas. We often get caught up in the whole "gift giving" that we forget the true meaning of Christmas! Jesus IS the reason for the season!!

Andy and I are staying busy. He is still working for his dad and I have started my own business. Feel free to check out my site at www.MissPrissCreations.com. I sell hair bows and other girly items and will hopefully be adding new things in the near future.

Brent is now attending a private, Christian school and seems to be doing okay. He is also playing basketball and is doing extremely well. We are so proud of him and how he has improved. He is such a special young man (my how he has grown). I know God has great plans for him (even though he's a teenage and some days are rough). Andy and I had him at a very young age, but I don't regret anything and if given the opportunity, I would do everything the exact same way!

Samuel attends preschool twice a week and absolutely loves it. He is 110 percent daddy's boy and everything daddy does, he is sure to do! So, watch out daddy, because you have a little shadow who takes in everything you say and do. He is a busy, busy kiddo, but Andy and I joke about one thing......Dylan knew we would need something to keep us busy when he was gone and so he talked the BIG MAN upstairs into sending us this busy little fella!!! We just love him so much.

Katelyn is so precious and is mommy's girl. So glad to no longer have just males in my house (I need someone who will someday side with me...LOL). She's quiet and absolutely adorable. She prefers mommy over daddy (momma's girl) unless nana or grandma are around and then she seems to prefer them. But that's okay! She is a blessing.

I'm so sorry for how long it's been since we've updated this site.

Would you please keep a VERY special friend our mine in your prayers? Her name is Alison and her Caring Bridge website is: www.Caringbridge.com/ky/allison

She is such a special young lady and is have a very rough time. She was kind enough to send Dylan cards and gifts ALL the time when he was sick and I even remember her dad and sister visiting us in the hospital when he was ill. Her dad even stopped by the funeral home during visitation after Dylan's passing. She truly is an angel, here on earth and I love her like a sister.

Happy New Year!

Traci and the rest of the Harris Gang!
