Leandra's Lifeline

Our Angel came into our lives.. Feb. 3 , 2001 . We never could have imagined what she brought with her. Teaching us so much of love, selfishness, and sacrifice... was many of the few things. Leandra was transplanted with Umbilical Cord Blood on Aug. 29 , 2001 for a disease called Krabbe's Disease. Although it was effective and diminished some of her pain and suffering she went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 28 , 2003.

"And now.. these three remain.. Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is LOVE!"

Please always love like it is your last day.. you never know when it may come.

Hello to all of you that continue to check in on us. Thank you for your love and concern. Well what can I say. I think life is finally good. Really, I know it is. Just hard to admit after all we have survived through. Lol.
Ok really the girls are great... Lindsay is almost fourteen... typical pre teen... could be worse... could be better... overall pretty good. My lil Lauren is not such the baby anymore... and she is almost seven. Has some issues to work out a little on her spoiled self.. but does great in school and with Jeff s help I am certain her temper tantrums and spoiledness are soon to be under control. I never realized until recently how I spoiled her and over compensated due to the loss of Leandra. And my lil Allyssa...... Oh she is soooo wonderful. Her sister is alive and well in her I believe... and once I upload some photos ... I am sure those of you remembering Leandra will too. She is one and a half... and what more do I say. Wonderful.
God has finally blessed me with a wonderful mate... Jeff he is absolutely the best I have ever had. He helps in so many ways. Is so loving and accepting of my girls and life is just so much easier and more comfortable with him in it. So with that said ... oh yeah he did buy me an engagement ring a couple of months ago too.... so i ll keep you all posted.. no date yet. We are in no rush, I am sure we will know when the time is right. So now with that said... there isnt much more to say.. just wanted to let those of you who keep us in your thoughts know how things are going. Finally have a good computer and internet connection now.. so look me up on facebook... or just leave a message here. Much love and prayers always to all of you... Stacy and Girls
