Welcome to Brittany's page. Brittany was diagnosed on March 01,2002 with Krabbe disease. Brittany lost her battle with krabbe on Aug.20,2002-she was ten and half months old. Brittany also had a half brother(from her daddy w/first wife)that passed away w/krabbes. Bryan J. Walters April,1980-Dec.,1980. Less than half percent chance of this happening again.
Brittany has a wonderful and loving big sister, Taylor Nicole Walters.

Born: Oct 06, 2001 1:54am

"Our Little Turtle Grew Wings". Brittany lived a full life even if it was short. We love and miss her.

Pumpkin and Turtle

Pumpkin had a little sister,
Turtle was her name;
Turtle has a sickness,
And no one was to blame.

Pumpkin's only three,
And it's hard for her to know;
How her precious little sister,
Could not be with her to grow.

Turtle could not take the pain,
She lived in agony;
Yet Pumpkin often talked with her,
And they looked so lovingly.

Turtle grew her wings,
And Heaven bound she flew;
It was hard on all the family,
And left Pumpkin oh so blue.

Pumpkin-try to remember,
Your Turtle that loved you so;
And go on with your life,
For both of you, you'll grow.

God Bless Turtle
God Bless Pumpkin
God Bless the Family

Long time since last update.

Let's start with the being of the year. Taylor has been sick with her ashtma off and on. I have been work hard not only in OB/GYN clinic at the hospital but also in Labor and Delivery helping delivery babies, very exicting. Brittany's diagonis date was March 1. April 28th was Bryan's birthday(Dennis's son). Softball season started and now coming to an end til fall ball starts.

Taylor at nine years old has been in two deliveries, yes, you read right. Taylor got to see two babies being born. They say she was right up close and loved every part of it. She explained what everything did and how the baby got what it needed from the mother she it the bag with the tube attached to the baby. how cute is that. Taylor saw her sister die at age 3 and at age 9 saw life begin. Now she has the circle of life. Taylor is an amazing girl and full of life, love, and she is very giving to others. I am very proud of my baby. It is hard to believe that she is going into fourth grade.

We all miss Brittany and Bryan very much. There isn't a second that goes by we don't think of them. Time doesn't heal but it does help you to handle things any different ways.

It is amazing what you learn through your children and through life without them. There are times we talk with GOD and there are times we ask why and there are times we fight with GOD, scream, yell, and if could hit HIM. We pray to Jesus and to give us strength and look toward him for guidness. I guess we all have are ups and downs and our own personal relationship with GOD and Jesus. Just like how we deal with pain and heart ach.

I pray that all is doing well and that someday we find a cure for Krabbes. A cure for all illness that affects our children, that they get to live a happy and full life.

Our prayers and thank you for those who still come by and check in on us.
