Welcome to Jay's Page. On January 12, 2002, at the age of 13, Jay was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. On January 31, 2002, Jay, with his mother, left for New York to receive treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where they stayed until late October 2003.

Jay is now 17 years old, and so far, he has had 2 surgeries, 20 cycles of chemotherapy, 10 rounds of 3F8 antibodies, 28 rounds of radiation, completed a Phase I study of beta-glucan combined with 3F8 antibodies, 6 cycles of low dose chemo, irinotecan/temozolomide, 3 rounds of a Phase II arsenic trioxide protocol, 2 rounds of Gemcitabine and Docetaxel, 2 rounds of 17-AAG, and 1 round of ICE.

Currently we are back at MSKCC in NY where we are trying to find the right treatment to halt the progression of his disease.

We very much appreciate everyone's interest in his progress, and all of the support that we have been given.

Please sign the guestbook. Thank you!
