Sharing Alexa's life through her Mom's words, uncensored, straight from the heart.

Journal

Wednesday, April 9, 2008 11:50 AM CDT

Just imagine being blindfolded and set in the middle of a football field. Your goal is to find a gumball, a gumball that holds all your hopes and dreams... basically your life.

I feel like I've been trying to find gumballs for Alexa for the last 5 years. I've learned not to get too excited when I find one....it may look good and even taste good at the beginning, but doesn't seem to last long before getting spit out...sometimes by her, which is not the gumballs fault.

But, faith is a verb, giving up is not an option, and I'll continue searching...behind every closed door is.....another gumball. (You can tell I'm REALLY tired today..actually, I think I've waited long enough that no one reads this anymore so I'm "safe" to rant and rave once more)
