Hi, I'm Kristina. I am 19 years old and am a Freshman in College this year!! In January of 2005, I was diagnosed with ALL, or Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I have completed my treatments at the Mayo Clinic in May of 2007...YEAH!! I am active in MHS sports, 4H and in the community, my mom would like to say that I am a fighter who faced this challenge with dignity and determination.

Dear Friends and Family,

I know this is in short notice, but I am a part of the Bemidji State University Relay for Life Commitee, and we are hosting the Relay on April 3rd, 2009. With the money raised we are giving to the American Cancer Society in hopes of finding a cure for cancer. In fighting cancer myself, this means a lot to me and will be giving a speach at 9pm in the Gillett Recreation Center about my journey. If you could attend that would be wonderful.

I am writing this email in hopes that you would be able to donate even a small amount to my relay team. We are trying to raise $300.00 and are still far from our goal. If you could help out that would be fantastic!

PS....I am doing well...enhoying school and went to Cancun for spring break. My last check up a couple of weeks ago was as Donna would say "BORING" but in this case, boring is so GOOD!
