Kirsten's page Welcome to Kirsten Faith's web page. Come read about a little girl who knows all about faith and courage. Kirsten Faith Huston Born: November 17, 2002 Weight: 6lbs. 9oz. Length: 20.5 Kirsten was diagnosed with spina bifida at 18 weeks and had fetal surgery, at 20 weeks, to repair her lesion on July 31, 2002 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She made it to 35 weeks 6/7. Her lesion level is an L2 and she recieved a shunt on 01/24/03, first revision 02/07/03, second revision 03/07/03, third revision 03/28/03, fourth revision 04/15/03. Her parents thank God for miracles, a dedicated medical community and the help and love of God’s family. Melissa and Jaret Huston Journal Thursday, August 18, 2011 6:57 AM CDT Kirsten is home! Sleeping most of the time, but very happy when she is awake. No lakes or pools for the next two weeks and only sponge baths to reduce the risk of infection. Main chore now is physical therapy, stretching and eventually regaining motion. Thank you all for the prayers and support. Melissa and I thank God that this went so well this time.
