Lily went in to the hospital on September 3 with a bladder infection. On September 5, the doctors found a tumor in her spinal column, part of which was pressing against her spinal cord. She had surgery on September 6 removing the part of the tumor on her spinal cord. They determined she had neuroblastoma and she started chemotherapy on September 8. She has had no negative reactions to the chemotherapy and is regaining use of her legs. Please see the first journal entry for more details.
As of January 1, 2005, Lily is finished with chemo. She had surgery on December 13 to remove the rest of the tumor, which was successful.
"So lift up your hands that have been weak. Stand up on your weak legs. Walk straight ahead so the weak leg will not be turned aside, but will be healed." Hebrews 12:12-13

Hi -
Thank you for coming to our website. I love you. You are so kind to me. I am four years old now, & I will be five September 18th.
I like princesses & dinosaurs too. I like my little brother Lukie and my favorite daddy & I love my mommy so much. I liked preschool & my teachers Mrs Halme & Mrs Outcalt, & my friends Macy & Tre & Cassidy & Emma & Isaac & Bailey. We got to go Como Zoo on the last day & it was fun. I also like Toby Mac. My favorite song is "Made to Love" by Toby Mac.
Thank you for all of your prayers for me!
I love you, Lily
