I was just checking your website to see if anything else was happening your way. We are so very pleased to see how well Nathan is doing. Couldn't believe how much the children have grown. You truly are blessed. Shelby is growing so fast and at 6 months she is becoming a busy girl and soon will be keeping up with yours. We need to make a trip up and see all the wonderful things that are happening. Roxanne and Mike must be so excited getting things together in their new home. Sorry things have been delayed with yours, but once they get started it will go fast. So much excitement !!! Meanwhile, we wish you all the best and you will remain in our prayers as always.

Love to all,
Cookie & Yvan

Hi Don and Bridget, I'm happy to hear Nathan had a nice birthday. I went to NC to visit Bruce A. last month and he's going to be in Manchester in Sept for his sister's wedding. He wants to get together with some of the old crew on a Tuesday night after Gerry's class. I'll let you know the date when I find out. He'd really like to visit with both of you. Take care and have a great summer.

Hi Don and Bridget, I'm sorry to hear that things have not gone smoothly with Nathan's tests. I really can't blame him for not being so cooperative. He probably figures he's not sick anymore so why does he still have to go through this. I hate the thought of him being sedated and doing the tube thing, but it sounds like it will be the least traumatic for him at this point. I just want you both to know that I still think of you often and continue to pray for Nathan. Take care and God Bless, Kelly

We are so happy for all of you as the last visible reminder of Nathan's ordeal has been removed. We have been so blessed in that Nathan has received life saving treatments and that with continued prayers and modern science he will continue to be the happy, healthy baby boy we see today. We are so very proud of all of you as you have kept a positive outlook for all of us to see so that we could be strong during this difficult time. Our blessings are great, and today is the only real day that counts. Love you, Mom and Dad

Hello to you all. It has been awhile since I have dropped a line. Yvan, Shelley, Ed and I went on vacation for 10 days and just got back 10/7. Had a great time & have been busy settling back in. Checked in on Nathan's progress and so glad to hear all is normal, but my heart goes out to him every time I know he is going through the tests. It's hard on all of you, but the worse is behind you. Sorry to hear you have been sick & hope you are feeling better now. Hoping to see you on Nov. 4th. It's been far to long & I need to give you a hug. Thinking of you all & the prayers continue. Hugs & Kisses to all. Love Aunt Cookie & Uncle Yvan.

Don and Bridgette, I was not aware of most of what has happened due to being away from TKD for so many months. I'm glad I finally saw Don and got the address for this site. I can not imagine the ride you have been on and there's no way I can express my sorrow for what you have gone through. There's also no way I can express my delight in hearing of Nathan's NED status. Don, Bridgett, and family. I knew of Nathan being sick with a tumor but never imagined the extent until reading the journal history. It is amazing to see the strength upheld throughout this ordeal. It certainly is an incredible story and shows that God does give guidance in time of need with faith in healing. So glad to see that Nathan is on the road to recovery after a long and difficult journey. It is wonderful to see that the family bond is so strong and makes you realize just how important family unity needs to be. Best wishes for you all.

The most wonderful thing after such a serious and scarey ordeal as the one your entire family has gone through, is when a simple everyday situation can take your mind off it. Even for a minute. And the kids fighting would fall right into that catagory. May there be many more battles on the road to Adulthood. But be careful. Nathan is little, but he is already tougher than most preople will ever be in there lives. Thanks for the inspiration little Dude.

Hello,

You don't know me, I am a friend of Fr. Paul Aube. He told me of Nathan's illness and asked me to pray. I alerted our churches prayer chain and kept little Nathan in my prayers. I am glad that the Lord has given you GREAT news and given you and Nathan a new start. I admit that I chuckled when I read the journal entry about the sibling rivalry. I have two children of my own and they fight and push my wife and I to our limits almost daily. It is nice to know that that is the worst is over and you can start a more normal life. This Sunday I will have the privilage of reporting this news to our church during our PRAISE time instead of our prayer time. Rest assured that we WILL continue to pray for a fast recovery.

Praise the LORD!
Bless You All

I've never used the Internet as much as I have since you put the website together for Nathan. You've done such a wonderful job and it's great getting the updates directly from you. hi guys. Kelly has been keeping me updated on nathan's problems. I am sorry to not contacted you sooner. Life is busy, as always, and things just get by. I do think about you both often,a nd hope things are going well. You seem to have good spirits, and tha'ts good. I am very sure it is very hard on you both.

cancer is a bad thing, and cancer in kids is double-bad. it makes us wonder what we might have done wrong to cause this to fall on us or our loved ones. naturally, this is trash-thinking, and doesn't help anything. and also, of course, it's not anyone's fault.

I wish I had some magic words to say, or I could look into the future and put your fears to rest. but I can't. all I can do is tell you I am thinking about you and sending positive vibes/thoughts to you all.

Hey Guys,
It was great seeing you all this weekend. Francoise showed me the site and I thought it was a great idea. Teri and I are looking forward to nothing less than wonderful news about Nathan in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully we'll see you all again real soon, and in the meantime you'll all be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Teri and Bruce

Don and Bridgette although time has drifted us apart you'll always be very close in our hearts. We think about you often and hope for nothing but the speediest recovery for Nathan. I'm sure he is as strong as you two are and will recover faster than expected. If we can do anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Nathan is extremely lucky to have such wonderful parents as the two of you. I enjoyed our friendship at work. You both are great people to be around, and deserve all the best. My thoughts and cares are with you.
Be strong and get better Nathan.

Bridget and Don, you are two of the bravest people I know to have travelled this road with such poise and confidence. Nathan is an inspiration and will overcome this challenge.
