Welcome to The Barone Family web page. There are 2 goals for our continuation of this web page. 1. I want to remind everyone "Dreams really can come true." 2. I want our family to be a type of beacon in the night to lead other families dealing with cancer down the path of survival. 3. I feel it is important to acknowledge that Christa survived the cancer, however the entire family did too. Because of his little sister, Michael Anthony's whole world changed in an instant....so this is not just a page about a little girl that survived cancer...It is about a FAMILY that continues to SURVIVE CANCER!!
I can only pray this is what we are supposed to do, according to God's plan for our family.
Our entire family and life was changed on November 3rd, 1998, when Christa, at 3 years young was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She is currently N.E.D. and living a normal fun life!
"The Flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all" (from Disney's Mulan) Our little Flower is blooming bigger, brighter and God willing, Healthier, everyday!
Thank you all for your Love, Prayers and support.

Journal
Sunday, October 26, 2008 10:05 AM CDT Hi Everyone, I am so sorry that I don't update these journals a lot. There is so much going on. I am playing softball again, this year I'm on the senior team. Its a lot of fun, my team is great. It was my birthday on October 9, I turned 13! It was a lot of fun, I had one of my best friends sleep over the night before. In the morning I opened presents and I got a laptop! I screamed on the top of my lungs when I saw it, it was really funny. Halloween is coming up on Friday, I'm so excited, but I still have to go and get my costume. I really want to be a Kandy Korn but Party City seems to have sold out of all the smalls. which seems a little odd to me. I'll figure it out though. That's about it for now, I will try and do my best to update the journal every week or so, but I can't make any promises. Talk To You All Soon! ~Christa 8)
