Hello

I know, I know long time...no write...but I am today...:D

Today my ANGEL would be 15 years old. Hard to imagine her at this age. When I think about today my heart is heavy and yet at the same time rejoicing. Heavy in that I can't share this special day with her, because she is with her daddy and Jesus. Rejoicing in that I had - have the priviledge of being her momma.

Amazing how I can still recall everything about her birth. I remember when my midwife was worried that they were going to have to revive her with some oxygen because right before she was born her heart rate dropped below 80, (not good) and that she was being (as always) her own self and not coming like most babies do face down, she wanted to see the world face up (lol), but she did do a flip flop and did thing right and was fine, Praise GOD.

I remember when she was getting cleaned up for the first time and having her hair washed, of course she was crying and the midwife asked her, "Do you have a headache, I know I would" lol.

It is amazing how we can remember little things like that. I also remember those in our room when she was born, 2 out of 4 (besides me and the midwives) were present when she went home to Heaven too, as if she knew just when to leave us. (I believe she did know, no question there).

I was in St Louis this last couple weeks with Stephan for follow up and more, and was able to share Christina with other parents whose children were going through heart surgeries and lung and liver transplants. Her courage and stregnth keeps giving. Christina is and always will be a brave little girl, willing to share her life with those around her (or around her momma).

CHRSITINA I MISS YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE MY SPECIAL BREATH FROM HEAVEN.
