OUR HERO, OUR ANGEL JUNE 8, 1994- OCTOBER 21, 2005
Your fingerprints are on my heart. Fingerprints that teach me about caring. Fingerprints that teach me about love. Fingerprints that teach me about courage. Fingerprints that teach me about hope. Fingerprints that bring me closer to my loved ones. Fingerprints that bring me closer to myself. In the time I cared for you my whole life changed-never to be the same again. All this from tiny fingerprints that touch my heart. YOU will live in my heart forever-never to be forgotten. I will always love you. YOU are my child. Copyright 2001 by Tom Krause
THE WARRIOR Gazing in the mirror, I see a warrior’s face. Fully clothed in armor, No fear and no disgrace.
A tear it never offers, A smile it always gives, No sadness does it show, But what a life it lives.
Needles going in As blood is taken out, But still no sign of pain, No cries to make you doubt.
Each day you see this person, And think that they’re so brave, Each day you see us laughing, The tears are ours to save.
So when you see our armor, And think we’re calm and mild, Remember this one thing, The warrior is a child.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011 10:07 PM CST I have not posted on here in quiet sometime ,not for any particular reason. Tonight I felt that extra Michael spirit and decided to log in. Last week was 12 years that my sweet Angel Michael was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. I can remember the day from start to finish. There are just certain things that you never FORGET which will lead me to type the next paragraph. The day Michael was admitted to Hackensack University Medical Center, he was given a toy to bring to his room on the Pediatric Oncology Unit, it was a Playmobile Pirate Ship set, he was 4 and the set was huge. Well this past Saturday, I went to Hackensack to help Tommorrows Childrens Fund prepare baskets for their first annual Tricky Tray and when I walked into the room one of the gifts to be wrapped was a PLAYMOBILE PIRATE SHIP......I knew Michael was sending us a sign that the event will be a success. I tru;y believe in signs , I don't need them to feel Michael's love it just gives me an extra boost. During the time of his treatment we found so much love from doctors, nurses, staff, volunteers and newly made friends who became like family, I will never forget any of that in the years to come. I miss my little boy so much day after day..
Warmly Sharon
