Welcome to Joshua's News Update Page.
Joshua was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in May 2000. Neuroblastoma is a solid tumour affecting the sympathetic nervous system. Josh's tumour was located on his left kidney and adrenal gland and was classified as a stage III MYCN amplified (high risk),He has now completed all of his treatment protocol which comprised of:- * 6 Rounds of OPEC/OJEC chemotherapy * Tumour removal October 2000 * High Dose Chemo(Melphalan & Busulphan)Nov 2000 * PBSCT (Stem Cell Transplant) * Focal radiation to tumour site (13 treatments)April 2001 * 6 Rounds Roaccutane completed September 2001.

Friday, May 23, 2008 4:00 AM CDT Josh recently celebrated his 10th Birthday and is doing very well.
Like any 10 year old boy he loves computer games and enjoys Tennis, Guitar and Cubs among his hobbies.
