Easy re-entry. After two months of treatment, returning to school could have been stressful for Christine Shannon. Thanks to CaringBridge, “she didn’t have to explain to anybody,” says mom Linda.
Life lessons. During the last months of her life, Serena McCallum wrote—about everything. “CaringBridge allowed all of us to take this journey with her,” says daughter Consuelo.
Two families, one inspiration. Evan Cousineau’s story mobilized a nationwide effort to register bone marrow and organ donors—including his big sister, Mary. “CaringBridge made it possible,” says mom Gina.
Simplifying communication. After beating a brain tumor, 11–year–old Conor Smith was diagnosed with leukemia. “We wish we’d used CaringBridge from the start,” says dad Tim.
Seeing is believing. When Stacy Sato's daughter was diagnosed with cancer, the messages of love from family and friends kept her going. “They lift your spirits,” she says.

Finding strength. Aaron Bonds thought he had a pulled muscle, not lymphoma. His wife says CaringBridge helped her stay positive. “It became my public therapy.”
An early blessing. Little Alayna Selk arrived more than three months premature. Says mom Katie, “CaringBridge helped us keep everyone updated.”
Connection during a crisis. At just eight months old, Katie Belle Cooley was diagnosed with leukemia. “CaringBridge helps break the isolation,” says mom Karen.
A hero’s courage. Lt. Andrew Kinard sustained massive injuries while serving in Iraq. “CaringBridge has been a real blessing,” says his sister, Katherine.
Delivering a miracle. Amy Taylor was pregnant with her son when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Amy says CaringBridge “kept me going.”
Light in the darkness. Lisa Fleming’s 4-year-old daughter was in the hospital for a month. CaringBridge provided “support and hope when I needed it most,” she says.
