Life with ADHD, God's perfect plan

So much going on with these two children.. they are growing so fast.. Randy is in 110th grade at the local HS.. Saralyn is in 7th grade at the local JR high.. both healthy.. Randy continues to dig himself into a deep hole. my famous words are get rid of that shovel. it is a joke of sorts now.. He just turned 17 yesterday.. very tall 6 ft now and weighs about 150 i guess. smart .. very smart. still loves star wars. sooooo much.. He has a new friend that shares his love for starwars too. they get along so well.. I'm glad he has a friend.. Saralyn is almost 13 going on 35. she is so funny sometimes.. wants to be so grown up.. her attitude gets her into trouble most of the time. but she is usually remorseful.. they both are changing so much. each day is a new adventure for all of us.. Randy is still on probation from things he has done in the past all related to his ADHD and ODD.. he is so stubborn.. He has thalesemia minor a blood disorder that makes him appear to be enemic.. but we have that under control.. Their uncle Mike recently moved back to TN after aboutt 5 years or so.. What changes in Uncle Mike.. WOW We still all go to church regularly and are active in the church.. I continue to pray for both children. I can't imagine what our lives would be like with our our faith in God.. God is in control.. pray for us.. thanks.. God loves you.

Randy and Saralyn have surely grown up.. Randy now 16.. still in much trouble at home. with anger issues.. and behaviors still related to being born positive to cocaine and an ADHD/ODD diagnosis since age 5-6.. he still lives with me in TN.. I'm his maternal grandmother. he and his sister have been with me since 1999. and probably will be here for another 9 years. they have little or no contact with their mom.. they are healthy and eating me out of house and home. they still attend church regulary and go to public school.. Randy is in 10th grade at the local High school.. and failing almost every subject due to his behavior and not willing to adhere to the rules.. Saralyn on the other hand is now in 7th grade at the local Jr High.. grades are pretty good. she still love music and dancing.. she is a social butterbly.. she loves people and enjoys school and church. They both swam on a swim team. this past year.. Randy refuses to go back to swimming but then again he refuses to do many things.. Saralyn loves swimming and being on the team. having to live with these two children so different in personality and behavior is difficult.. one blames the world for what he does and tries to justify all his negative behaviors with lies and excuses. the other one accepts discipline with no arguments.. takes full responsibility for her actions.. . it makes it difficult for me the grandmother to keep a civil tongue sometimes. but I know i have to pray, pray and then pray some more. I know that God is the only one who can change Randy. but Randy has to want to change too. I also know that. any way. this is to just update this.. please sign our guest book.. God Bless you.. Keep us all in your prayers if you are a Christian.. more later..
