I was so glad to find Mitchell's page. I have been thinking about my former students lately as I decided to retire from teaching this year. Mitchell was in my class when he was diagnosed, so he is a student I have always remembered and prayed for. It is wonderful to read that he is doing so well.

My barely 2 year old nephew was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. This has been very devastating to our family and is very heartbreaking. You can't feel how much pain it is unless it happens to you.
Unfortunately, there isn't much attention in Childhood Cancers since most of them are rare cancers. In effect, there isn't much studies and research done for their cure.
I signed the petition "Cure Childhood Cancer - Another Inconvenient Truth". I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 1,000,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Thank you!

Cure Childhood Cancer - Another Inconvenient Truth
Target:
News media (e.g. 20/20, Dateline, 60 Min.) - we need to tell our story!
Sponsored by:
CureSearch & Texas Children's Hospital

RAISE AWARENESS & FUNDING FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER
Childhood Cancer Facts

- Childhood cancer is the #1 killer disease of our children, more than from asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and pediatric AIDS combined

- 1 in 300 children will be diagnosed with cancer before age 20
- Each year 3,000 children die, and 35-40,000 are in treatment

- The National Cancer Institute's (NCI) federal budget was $4.6 billion. Of that, breast cancer received 12%, prostate cancer received 7%, and all 12 major groups of pediatric cancers combined received less than 3%

OBJECTIVE - RAISE AWARENESS

-Deliver signatures to ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox and challenge every prime time, investigative or news media to produce a special devoted solely to childhood cancer.

- The show will RAISE AWARENESS OF THE PROBLEM and show how special these kids are. Show how they face fear, pain, boredom and the unknown, many times for years on end. They may live or die, yet each will forever impact those around them in ways beyond their years.

You can make a difference. You can help. Please sign.

Been thinking about you all. Here is a prayer for you......
PLEASE remember ME and MINE in yours. Much LOVE through JESUS CHRIST our SAVIOR.

Powerful Prayer

Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to You. I take a stand against all the workings of satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of satan in my prayer. Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons.

I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. It surrounds me like a mighty wall that you cannot penetrate. Heavenly Father, I worship You and give You praise. I recognize that You are worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity and that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ into the world to die as my substitute. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative and that through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have adopted me into your family; You have assumed all responsibility for me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that in Him, you have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and strength. Heavenly Father, open my eyes that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this day. I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the Cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies.
I take my place with Him in he heavenlies and recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and Satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the Armor You have provided. I put on the Girdle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the Shield of Faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy; and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. I choose to use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life. I put on this Armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit. I am grateful, Heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject all the insinuations, and accusations, and the temptations of Satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true and I choose to live today in the light of God's Word. I choose, Heavenly Father, to live in obedience to You and in fellowship with Yourself.

Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please You. Work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give satan a foothold against me. I do in every way stand into all that it means to be Your adopted child and I welcome all the ministry of the Holy Spirit. By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the fleshly works of the evil one and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the Your holiness and stand into all the victory of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me to live above sin. Therefore, today I put off all forms of selfishness and put on the new nature with its love.

I put off all forms of fear and put on the new nature with its courage. I put off all forms of weakness and put on the new nature with its strength. I put off all forms of lust and put on the new nature with its righteousness, purity, and honesty. I am trusting You to show me how to make this practical in my daily life. In every way I stand into the victory of the ascension and glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby all the principalities and powers were made subject to Him.

I claim my place in Christ as victorious with Him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word. I, therefore, claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and peace, with long-suffering, gentleness and goodness, with meekness, faithfulness and self-control in my life.

I recognize that this is Your will for me and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavors of satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of god. I refuse in this day to believe my feelings and I hold up the Shield of Faith against all the accusations and distortion and insinuations that satan would put into my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for my life today. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I completely surrender myself to You, Heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of Your will today.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of satan and smash the plans of satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I affirm, Heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of satan formed against my emotions today and I give my emotions to you. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against my will today, I give my will to You and choose to make the right decisions of faith. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against my body today, I give my body to You recognizing that I am your temple. I rejoice in Your mercy and goodness.
Heavenly Father, I pray that now and through this day You would strengthen and enlighten me. Show me the way satan is hindering and tempting and lying and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer and faith. Enable me to be aggressive mentally, to think about and practice Your Word, and to give You Your rightful place in my life. Again, I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today.

I surrender myself to You. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way this victory over all the satanic forces in my life. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise to You, alone. Amen.

Hi Martin Family! This is Shelley, Treyton Zanutto's mom. Remember us? I remember you guys everyday in our prayers and keep up with you with this web page. I am so happy for you. Things are wonderful here. We have been experiencing a lot of similar blessings. When we went to see the orthopedic in July, he told us to throw Treyton's leg brace away. Dr. Gerow said that Treyton had already surpassed everything he had hoped for. Trey's scans in October were clear which makes us 4 years out. We thank Jesus Christ everyday. Please give Mitchell lots of kisses from me, and give each other a hug from me too. I miss you! Merry Christmas!

Love,
Shelley

Hello Dear Martian Family,

Becky,
I can't imagine anyone rolling their eyes, don't allow satan to lie to you.

"Greater is He that is in you, than he (the devil and his evil forces) that is in the world." (1 John 4:6)

Jesus Christ said, "Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." (Matt. 11:28)

God is the same as he was yesterday, and the day before and the day before that, etc.

When I am attacked I know that I must be doing the Lords will, I've made satan mad.

"get thee behind me satan"

I recently heard someone say when asked "how do you know there is a God?"

Their reply was "how do I know there is air that I breath, even though I can't see it?" PRAISE GOD!

You're Faith shall set you free Sister! :)

Much Love and Many Prayers,

Machele

Hello my Dear Sweet Friend and Sister in Christ.
YES! JESUS IS ALIVE IN 2005 AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO THRIVE.

satan has NO power over us that BELIEVE!
We are the KINGS CHILDREN and we have the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

GLORY BE TO GOD!

I'm praying that MITCHELL will OVERCOME every obstacle that has been thrown in his path. I have "FAITH" that we ALL will be richly blessed for the Glory of GOD!

PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!

I have a song in my heart:

Up Calv’ry’s mountain, one dreadful morn,
Walked Christ my Savior, weary and worn;
Facing for sinners death on the cross,
That He might save them from endless loss.

Blessed Redeemer! Precious Redeemer!
Seems I now see Him on Calvary’s tree;
Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading,
Blind and unheeding—dying for me!

“Father forgive them!” thus did He pray,
E’en while His lifeblood flowed fast away;
Praying for sinners while in such woe—
No one but Jesus ever loved so.

Oh, how I love Him, Savior and Friend,
How can my praises ever find end!
Through years unnumbered on heaven’s shore,
My tongue shall praise Him forevermore.

Many Blessings and prayers sent your way!

Love through Christ our Savior Forever,

Machele <MacheleAkers@aol.com>

Becky, Just checking up on all my friends and sending a Happy New Year to you. It sounds as if God is providing you with some new challenges. Mitchell will be fine and will learn and grow through your love. I can remember how very sure he was that he did not want Andrew to play with his Buzz Lightyear or Woody that one night that we were without. We snuck it away when he went to sleep and Andrew enjoyed it for a while. Do you remember was is Buzz or Woody? I think of you often and pray that the cancer is forever gone. Now I will include your new challenges in my prayers. Hug Mitchell tight for me.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I KNOW 2005 will bring all of us that rely on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, new blessings to share. :)

I love that song too Becky, can you imagine how Mary felt? Yes, she knew exactly who her baby boy was! WOW! I don't know how any Mother can listen to that song without shedding tears.

Your messages are becoming more and more meaningful to me. I can hardly wait for the next. (no pressure) lol

Thank you!

May the Lord continue to Bless you and your family . . . . . so that you may so graciously continue to Bless us with his word.

Hi to all in Katy,
I was reading your journal today, and I could not help but cry, but it was tears of joy, when I think where Jesus brought Mitchell from to where he is today.....I am so glad there is a name bigger than cancer, and that is Jesus
I read a lot of the new updates from your friends, and they were so inspiring. I hope you are all doing well this Christmas season, I feel quite alone, with every one moving to Texas, but God knows what his will is.
so I just to say Amen To Jesus.
How I would love to see that little greatgrand son today and hear him say "Grandma Bonnie." Maybe I will see him when I get better. My phone just rang and it was Curt he is on his way to Katy, he and Traci, there are half way
stopping for the night.
Love you Becky and I am so thankful for the word of God that in your heart, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks...You are all in my Prayers

Hi James, Becky, Mitchell, May our Lord continue to bless you and your family! What a blessing to read about Mitchell's journey that the Lord has taken your family thru. I Cor.2:9 I'm excited to see his preparation for Mitchell and Robert. What miracles these walking and talking young men are to our friends and family who are unsaved! I pray for continued miraculous testamony they will be for our Lord! How exciting to be chosen by our Lord to be used by him for his will to be done in others' lives. Thank you Jim for such a nice conversation to his wonderous ways and timing. I'm also thanking the Lord today for you to start Roberts' webpage for us here at caringbridge and that we will also be like your family, a blessing, to any and all who need to see the power or our Lord JESUS CHRIST, and the peace that passes all understanding that is given to each who ask. Looking forward to meeting your family one day when ever you come back to CA. for a visit, now to your extended family, dear sweet sister and brother in Christ. In his Grace, Linda Kessler

Hope this finds you doing well. Mom - I never realized you too had cancer. Coming from a family ridden with cancer myself, and having lost my mom to it when I was 9, I really really had a hard time with it when my son was diagnosed. He was lucky to be diagnosed with a "good" cancer, but cancer=death to me, and God had to be there for other people and families. I am still "on the fence" faith wise, I believe, I definitely do, but I well, I dont know what the problem is. I am glad you guys have each other, and faith, its gotten you this far and will get you through anything. I actually admire your faith despite all the obstacles you have had thrown at you. I hope I dont offend you with this halloween card. We're keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hello Martins!
I found your site through another Caringbridge site.

This evening I had a chance to read some more of Mitchells journal. WOW! God is AWESOME! Your family, how you have chosen to deal with the unthinkable, how you have used Gods word and love as it is intended, IS SUCH A BLESSING!

Becky,
I read your first journal entry on DEC. 6, 2003. I wept with joy. Joy because you overcame! I can't imagine as a Mother having to do what you had to. And how you dealt with it, and trusted our Lord, was a miracle in itself.

I pray that through your love and faith, that others too may be witness to Gods love and power. He is the alpha and the omega, the same today as he was thousands of years ago. NEVER CHANGING!!!!!!

He loves us all the same, if he did this for Mitchell, he would do it for any of us. It takes "FAITH".

Like the unconditional love we have for our children, we need to practice unconditional "FAITH". LIVE AND BREATH IT, TRUST IT, KNOW IT, ACCEPT IT, AT ALL TIMES!

Not to pass judgment . . . . . I have read so many times in other journals, that it must be God's will to take one of our babies. MY GOD DOES NOT DO THIS! HE IS A LOVING AND MERCIFUL GOD!

SATAN IS THE AUTHOR OF CANCER!

The only power we have over Satan and his diseases' is the HOLY SPIRIT.

This all said out of love, and the hope that others may gain hope through Jesus Christ. "Let go, and let GOD."

For those that have lost loved ones, rest in the peace that you will again be reunited. If you have "FAITH" in our Lord and his word.

Real faith = No worry

Blessings to all.

I happened across your guestbook after following several links from several pages . . . and what a fresh of breath air to read your confession of faith! I too am a blood-bought, born again, spirit filled Christian. God has really placed children with serious diseases on my heart and I'm waiting on Him to show me how He wants to use me in this area. There are so many out there who just simply don't know or understand what Jesus gave us when he died on the cross and bore all our sicknesses and diseases. I don't say that in a condeming way -- I mean it makes me so sad to see so many who just don't know. It makes me so determined to want to help educate people on what the Word says . . . I'm just waiting on the Lord to show me the way. Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a note and say how wonderful it is to run across someone who has heard the truth and has been set free! I'm in complete agreement that Jesus healed your son, and I pray protection over him right now -- no weapon formed against him shall prosper. He is healed from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Thank you Jesus!!!

Becky -- It's been a long time since I stopped by, but your words really do encourage me. Caleb has only seven treatments left and I to believe we are just going through the process -- in Jesus' name I believe he is already healed. The treatments are actually getting easier for him and for all of us. I have seen my family grow in ways that I would have never imagined possible just seven months ago. Thanks for being an inspiration and for being there when everyone needs it.
I just have one question -- let me know how you get all the cool stuff on your page !! It's great.

Dear Becky,
I have been moved by your story as Mitchell's teacher and as a mother myself. When I met you and your husband and your precious Mitchell at meet the teacher night, I felt God's peace within you. My goals for my classroom this year and as always go beyond just "what is expected". I believe that developing a child's mind as well as his attitude on life and himself is the biggest task I have as their teacher. It is a challenge that I love to take! It changes from year to year. I too believe that all children are in my class for a reason, either for them or for me. There is a passage that brings comfort to me and may bring some comfort to you and your family. Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: Rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your request known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I'll end with this final thought that I feel is the most important part of Mitchell's education (which I know you will agree with)..."and each agreed that they would have failed if each had worked alone. For behind the parent, stood the school, and behind the teacher, the home. (anonymous) May God continue to bless and keep you and your family always,
Mitchell's first grade teacher,

Way to go Mitchell!! I love this story! My son Cooper was dx with Rhabdo on July 1. He is also having a great response to the chemo. I keep telling my husband that they are going to go in at 12 weeks and say "what cancer?" I like your saying "it's dead at the root". Where did that come from? Anyway, thanks for sharing your inspiring story. I need to acquire the attitude that you have. Most days I have a good attitude, but others are rough. Cooper's site is www.caringbridge.org/mi/cooper

Hello, i was watching a couple of new records being set at the Olympics today, so thought i would look up some slightly stranger ones instead of some jokes.

Here's a couple;

Most spoons balanced on the face
Tim Johnston (USA) (b. 1 January 1992), was able to balance on his face (one on each ear, two on each cheek, three on his chin, two on his lips, one on his nose and three on his forehead) and balance them for 30 seconds at on May 28, 2004.

British pub landlord Garry Turner clipped 153 ordinary wooden clothes pegs on his face at the WH Smith bookshop in York, Yorkshire, UK, on September 28, 2002

I have been reading your sermons, again, and I am amazed at your words of encourgement to others. You have a gift sent from God, and I am so proud to be your GrandMother...
Timothy in the Bible had a GrandMother.....and he wrote of her help to him......I hope I have been a help to you.
You and James have been so faithful in your believing God,
and to read your words, are just great.....don't ever be discouraged in writing. for God's word will not return void
but it will accompolish that where in it is sent.....

I hope I have contributed a little to your knowledge of the word, and I am sure your Mother Sue, certainly has.
I am so proud when I read your semons.....I agree with the Lady that said, you need to be preaching in a church.....

I pray God will open doors for you to witness in churches
plural.......You have a wonderful miracle to tell others about.
Love You

Dear Becky,
Thank you so much for signing my Mitchell's guestbook and delivering the message that I needed to receive from Our Gracious Father. Your message hit the nail on the head several times about my thoughts and the sermons our Pastor has preached recently (clearly a message for me). I have copied and printed your journal entry to help remind me to FEAR NOT! You have given me my peace, I thank you and love you for that.

Wow, that is the first word that comes to mind about you and your faith. God is using you in a very powerful way to spread the message of Jesus. I want you to know that I printed out your journal entry from last night and took it with me today to the hospital. I always pray and read my bible while Connor is in the MRI machine. I sit at one end and can see his little head sticking out. Today, I read through your journal several times, read and prayed. I just had to tell you that. You ARE making a difference. Hey my friend:
Thanks again for being there. I beleive you are so right about the negative side of things and we really do need to stay connected to the positive. Peter is a positive celebration all in himself and the good Lord put us together to bear the merry-go-round ride.Peter has become discouraged with the web site so he doesn't even read it much anymore. Thanks for your words of wisdom they are certainly guided by the HOLY SPIRIT. Mitchell looks great and Dad looks elated. Sure nice to see that blue pool water. We just opened ours for the summer yesterday can't wait to get some exercise and fun in the sun. We are so blessed Becky with our two healthy beautiful sons. Please pray for Zachery a once very healthy 16 yr. old friend of Peter's who took his own beautiful life yesterday. May God have great mercy on his beautiful soul,he was such a great kid. Sometimes it's so hard to figure out I just stop trying and LET GO and LET GOD. Thanks again for being there.

Your son is beautiful and I am so thankful to hear his journey is headed in the right direction.

I was just talking to a friend about this roller coaster ride we as parents are on and she sent me to your site.

My son was diagnosed with ALL and had an unrelated bone marrow transplant Dec. 2003. He is doing well - thank you Jesus but like you, the pain and sorrow that comes with the new "family" we acquire is unbelievable. We just found out today that a precious little 2-yr-old girl has no more options and has been sent home with hospice care. I feel like my heart has been ripped out again.

Every one of your comments hit the nail on the head. It is cancer and the pain and sorrow is immense. Thanks for sharing you feelings. We will remember Mitchell in our prayers.

I have that song on my mind,"Oh I want to see Him, look upon His face, there to sing forever of His SAVING GRACE! On the streets of glory let me lift my voice. Cares all past, home at last, ever to rejoice." Until that day, you just keep on preaching and proclaiming His wonderful works. We go from Glory to Glory. Victory to Victory. To the Family...You don’t know me, but I found your website through another child website. I don’t have a child with cancer, but I have a child who is on medication and everyday it is something new. I would like to say thanks. Reading your website really encourage me to trust in God Word. “Proverb 3-5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” God want us to trust him, not man. Sometimes we put our trust in man instead of God. God knows what we need, but he wants us to ask him. I wrote a song and my little boy sing this part: “He is Alpha and Omega, First and the Last, The Beginning and the End, He is bigger then anything.” God is bigger then you and me. He created the heaven and earth. He placed the moon and stars in the sky. God word never fells. Isaiah 40:8 say’s: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God stands forever. Dear Family,
We are so glad you had a safe trip. We were thinking and praying for you while you were away. Had no idea how much you needed prayer. God is so faithful even in difficult times. How far we have come in our faith. Takes a lot to shake us now. We know beyond a shadow of doubt that"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER!" Praise God! I am so thankful for all those who sign your web page. It's like an extended family. God brings us together in one mind and one accord. You can know when this happens, great things will be done for God's Kingdom. There are things happening that are eternal and may only be seen with our spiritual eyes. God is using this site to uplift, encourage and further His God News. Don't ever let up on your wonderful praise and exortation. God is with you, so tell me who can stand against you.

Our hearts are longing to see you all. We are feeling that pull to Texas once again. Want to hug and kiss Mitchell and watch him play ball and swim. We love you "sweet boy".

Hope you have a wonderful visit with the girls from Illinois. They are so excited about coming. Saw them just yesterday and bid them a safe and great trip.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therfore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6:10-13)

SO WE STAND !! SO WE HOLD OUR GROUND !! WE REFUSE TO YEILD !!

Missed you but so glad you had a great trip! I prayed that you would be safe travelling. Lunch at Pier 23, I am jealous! That has to be one of my most favorite places in the world to eat and just enjoy! Hello Mitchell, we have not met, but I read your mom's entry in Caleb Davis' guestbook and located your site. It brought both tears of sadness and joy, first, that you are experiencing this, and second, that you are beating this. It is great to hear how well you are doing, and it is even greater to hear your mother's dedication to our LORD! If you have one ounce of your parent's strength and courage, you will undoubtedly grow into a fine young man! Looking forward to reading more journal entries.

Dear family -- I was doing some research on rhabdomyosarcoma when I came upon your page. I truly belive the Lord led me here. You see, my son was just diagnosed in January of this year. He has the embryonic head and neck type of rhabdo, stage 3. We have completed six weeks of chemo and have six more to go before we are evaluated to see if he will need surgery. We can see the Lord's healing hand in his life already. When diagnosed, the visible part of his tumor measured 5 x 4 cm. Today, it is no longer visible. Your page, your witness and your faith truly inspired me. I will check in frequently with you to follow your progress, please do the same for us. www.caringbridge.org/tx/calebdavis

I hope that you had a wonderful time, spent with family, making precious memories that you'll look back on in the future. Mitchell, I know your momma's prayers are as powerful as an army but I'd like to join in agreement for that cough and allergy to rid itself from your precious little body, In The Name of Jesus.

Becky, thank you for your unstoppable, unshakeable prayers-it's a blessing to be held up by the strength of our faith and the love of wonderful friends like you. What you said is so true...the battle field is often in our minds and scan time is so evident of that. As we entered the waiting room for our scans, the chairs were filled with children and their parents waiting for their name to be called; the only thing they all had in common was that their faces were filled with sadness and fear. As we entered the room, one by one, I saw their heads rise as Hannah happily walked in singing and greeting them with her smile. I saw their fear give way to their smiles. What did a sight like Hannah give do for the parents waiting with their children facing their own mortality facing their own fears? I think it gave them a little infusion of courage and joy, it gave them an image to carry in their minds as they submitted their children's bodies to the machines that would spell out life or death for them. It gave them a reason to smile, as Tim and I did, as we watched our gift from God fill the room with joy. As this day comes to a close, I know I was in a holy place tonight as I was in the presence of a precious 3 year old, who instead of thinking of Barbies and baby dolls was instead praying those half-whispered, soul shaking words of a child, not dictating to God what He should or should not do with her life but instead thanking Him for "healing" her. I'll close now with tears in my eyes and happiness in my heart.

HI MITCHELL, MOM & DAD,

IT'S SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND I THOUGHT I WOULD CHECK IN WITH YOU. LOVE THE WORD GOING FORTH! PRAISE GOD FOR ALL HE HAS DONE AND IS DOING. IT WAS FIVE YEARS AGO THIS MONTH, BECKY, THAT YOU HAD CANCER SURGERY. THREE YEARS AGO MITCHELL'S CANCER WAS FOUND. AND JUST LOOK AT US NOW. AUNT NONIE HAS PASSED THE 10 YEAR MARK WITH HER CANCER. PRAYER WITH FAITH MAKES A DIFFERENCE NO DOUBT. I LOVE WHAT ONE GUEST ENTRY SAID;"IF WE FEED FAITH, FEAR AND DOUBT WILL STARVE". FROM READING YOUR JOURNAL, I WOULD SAY FEAR AND DOUBT ARE VERY HUNGRY. MITCHELL, NANA LOVES YOU AND MISSES VERY MUCH. I LOVE TO HEAR YOUR LITTLE VOICE WHEN I CALL. EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T ALWAYS TALK TO NANA, I CAN HEAR YOU PLAYING IN THE BACK GROUND. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOU "SWEET BOY". SYDNEY AND BAYLEE ARE COMING TO NANA'S AND PAPA'S HOUSE THIS WEEKEND. WISH YOU COULD BE HERE TOO. JAMES, I KNOW YOU ARE DOING WELL, IF YOUR FAMILY IS. THANK YOU FOR BEING THE CHRISTIAN MAN THAT YOU ARE. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU IN MAY.
PS- I LOVE CHANCE'S SITE. GOD IS REALLY USING THAT YOUNG MAN FOR HIS GLORY!

Grandma Bonnie wanted to say Hello to you, and hope you are doing good in school. I talked to Nana today, she was telling me about your friend calling you lil brother, I thought that was so cute. Just to think that he is 14 years old, and takes time to write you, I am sure that is because he has gone through what you have. I miss you, I miss your little voice, and your hugs, you seem to like
everyone, I reaD what your teacher wrote about your smile.
What a nice teacher you must have. Jesus has done so much for you, I am so glad he still heals, and answers our prayers.

Hi Becky,
Forgot to put this in my post last night. My husband and I are going to a special viewing of The Passion on Monday night. It is for the christian radio station my husband helps sponsor. I can't wait to see it but know that I will be probably burying my head in my husband's shoulder as I am not good with blood and stuff. I run the religious ed middle school program for my church and have spent much time teaching Jesus' life to the 7th graders. My 8th grader who attends our church's school, plans on going to see it on Friday with several of his friends. Not sure I will let my 11 year old see it, he doesn't do so well with blood and such either and since he feels that Jesus is his best friend, don't know how he would handle the graphic movie of the crucifixation. Well got to run, hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,

HI!
I came to your website from Chance's, it is truly inspiring. I am keeping Mitchell in my prayers that he will have a long and healthy life ahead of him. Prayers and a strong belief in God does work. My mother was diagnosed with cancer nearly 9 years ago. It was unoperable and very strong chemo was the only way to treat it, she was only given a 5% chance in surviving it. Well, our family, all our friends and many, many strangers prayed hard and she is still with us today. She was here for two more grandchildren to be born. She also has remained cancer-free! She still suffers from some damage the chemo did but she doesn't complain as she is here and alive!
Have a great weekend!

Wow, after reading your posting, I feel like I have been to Church. What an uplifting sermon. Like you, sometimes I feel if our patience and understanding were already in place, we would not have to suffer through all the things we do.
I am reminded of when Jesus said, "be healed, your faith has healed you". Surely your son will continue in his healing. All too often we try to control things, when we should be still and let God do his work. He has a plan for us, and if we will let him, he will carry us through.

All too often I see myself getting down, letting satan get a foothold on my mind. I will not let that happen again.

To My Precious Family,(James, Becky, and Mitchell)

I am thrilled the way God is using you to bring hope, faith, and understanding of His Word to people from all walks of life. We are living in a day that people depend on science and technology more that the powerful word of God. It is people like you who must proclaim and remind us that we are truely helpless without our creator. I praise God everyday for Mithcell's precious little life. He has no idea what he has birthed in his parents but someday he will. I know if God delays His coming back again for His people, Mitchell will grow to be a great man of God. God is already using him so beautifully for His glory. I weep as I read all the beautiful guest entries. I believe your faith and perseverance in time of trouble will lead many into a deeper walk with God.

God Bless and Keep You and Continue to make His Face Shine Upon You. He is soooo Faithful to me.

Love and Kisses all three of you,
Nana

Dear Mitchell,

You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

I was straightening your room this morning and had an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I love your little "quircks!" When I am in your room I can just feel "you",whether you are there or not.I do not know, nor could I ever imagine what my life would be like without you.You are the most precious gift God could have ever given"me."You are literally my "precious Angel"sent from heaven!

I know you don't understand now,but you are the reason I am alive today, physically and spiritually.Yes, you saved my life twice.

Had I not concieved you when I did,I would not have known I also had cancer.Yes,it was our Lord's devine intervention!
That "intervention "is what I drew on when you were diagnosed. This time God used you AGAIN to draw me closer to him.

You see honey,we have a God who loves us VERY MUCH.But,we also have an enemy named "Satan"the devil. All I know is "we must be really important to Gods kingdom!"The devil has gone to great lengths to kill us.Thank God "When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against it."(Isaiah 59;18-20)

I love you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE and you are going to do great things for God!!!! You already have, you just don't realize it yet.

I Love you SWEET BOY!

WOW, what can I say but AMEN. I was visiting some CB sites and have Mitchell's on my favorites list so I thought....Let me go and see how they are doing. Becky...you are a woman after God's own heart.....PREACH IT GIRL !!!!!! The television is on in the living room as I type, and there is a lady preaching by the name of Paula White. That could be YOU!!! No, really, I'm serious. What a witness you could be along with Mitchell. Pray about it...I'm so blessed to hear the wonderful news on Mitchell. How does that song go? "...What can make me whole again....Nothin' but the blood of Jesus." The blood that he shed for me way back when....Is the blood that gives me strength every day. Mitchell Family,

I must say I don't check Mitchell's website as often as I should but this morning I felt like God was leading me to it. I know why now. Becky your words and wisdom are just awesome thank you for sharing it with the rest of us. It is so great to learn more of God's promises and to be able to say that I have seen his actions. I think back to the first day I met Mitchell and James in the play room at TCH, I was there visiting Lexy. My thoughts that day when I saw Mitchell were so gloomy. But today I am able to say "What an awesome God we serve". I can totally say today (where I could not say and wholeheartedly believe back then) that God is the true healer. Thank you for sharing your faith, knowledge and testimony so that all of us (especially myself) can draw closer to God.

Love in Christ,

DEAR FAMILY,
I WAS AWAKENED A 4:00AM THIS MORNING AND TOOK THE

OPPORTUNITY TO CHECK MITCHELL'S WEB SITE. SO GLAD I DID! I

AM SO EXCITED ABOUT HOW GOD IS LEADING YOU. IT IS SO

AMAZING HOW HE USES THOSE THINGS WHICH WERE MEANT TO HARM

US FOR OUR GOOD AND HIS GLORY. I SENSE GIFTS THAT HAVE

BEEN LYING DORMANT INSIDE YOU ARE ABOUT TO COME FORTH IN

YOUR LIVES. EVERYONE HAS TALENT OF SOME KIND OR SOMETHING

SPECIAL TO OFFER THE WORLD, HOWEVER, GOD MUST RELEASE YOU

AND UNLOCK THE POTENTIAL THAT IS THERE AND YOU MUST LET IT

OUT. I CAN SEE THAT IS HAPPENING AS I READ YOUR TESIMONY.

"WHEN THE LIGHT OF LIFE FALLS UPON THE LIFE OF MEN, SECRET

POWERS BEGIN TO UNFOLD, SLEEPING PERCEPTIONS BEGIN TO

AWAKE, AND THE WHOLE BEING BECOMES ALIVE UNTO GOD." I CAN

SEE THAT YOU ARE USING ALL YOUR TALENTS AND

INSPIRATIONS TO BECOME WHAT GOD INTENDED YOU TO BE AND AT

THE SAME TIME INFLUENCE OTHERS TOWARD GOD'S GRACE AND

POWER. I AM ALSO SURE YOU ARE SEEING THAT THESE TALENTS,

INSPIRATIONS, AND GIFTS ARE COUPLED WITH DISIPLINE, HARD

WORK, SACRIFICE AND STEADFASTNESS. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU

ARE WORKING AT IT AND MAKING ROOM FOR IT IN YOUR LIFE. IT

IS STARTING TO SHINE FORTH AMD GOD WILL USE ALL OF IT FOR

HIS GLORY. THERE IS NO END TO THE POTENTIAL GOD HAS PUT

INSIDE YOUR FAMILY TO BRING HIS TRUTH AND GLORY TO

INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE WOUNDED AND HAVE NO DIRECTION. I LOVE

YOU ALL! GIVE HUGS AND KISSES TO MY PRECIOUS AND ONLY GRANDSON.

Hi Mitchell,

Its Grandma Bonnie, how are you and your computer doing. I remember when I visited you, and slept in your computer room, you woke me very early in the morning so you could get on that computer and play those games. Then it was your back pack, your lunch, and then to catch the Bus.
I just cannot tell you how happy I am that you are happy, and Jesus, has healed that cancer in your body......When I heard my darling great grandson had cancer.....I prayed and prayed, and prayed......I would look at your picture and pray, I would pray over and over.....You had a wonderful Mother, Daddy, PaPa, and Nany, that stayed with you and fasted and prayed, sometimes all night......Oh honey you are such a miracle........When I see you now, and Mommy sends me pictures now and they are so different than when you had that old cancer......I cannot help but give praise to our Wonderful Lord Jesus.........I know you don't remember but when you show me that scar on your little leg, and say, "I got that in the hospital" I know the Doctor's had to do that to treat you, but when they thought they were going have to amputate your leg, and Jesus healed you, I just have to sing the song we sing at church "Look What The Lord Has Done.".......I am so glad you like your Sunday School Class.....and someday you may be a Sunday School Teacher, Grandma Bonnie started teaching Sunday School when she was 10 years old, Now Your
Nana, is Teaching, and your Mom is preaching on the internet on your web site......What A Saviour To Give Us His Favor. Love You

Dear Martin Family,

Happy New Year Martin Family. And Amen, to all that you have written.
I say, "Who cares" if others feel that you come off as a radical or not. You keep worshipping the way your heart tells you to.
As Christians, we should not focus on how differently we worship our Lord, Jesus Christ. But instead, realize and focus on the important things which we all have in common. This being "we are actually in worship" and worshipping the same Lord and Savior.
It is our joy and delight to tell you that WE LOVE YOU no matter how you choose to worship. And I know you feel like wise.
In this year and years to come, may God continue to show us His rightous path and may He give us enough strength and faith to follow it.
May the Lord continue to pour His blessings on your family!

Our Love and God's Blessings,
Dominic and Family

Dear Mitchell, Becky, & James,
Thank you for the Birtday call today. Wow! Becky you are certainly alive and well today. Thank you for the wonderful tribute. Mitchell, Nana misses you very much! I would love to be able to see you in person everyday and kiss your precious little fat cheeks. Your picture will have to satisfy for now. James, we are so fortunate to have you as a son, husband for Becky and wonderful father for Mitchell. God has taught us a lot together. I am still "Learning How to Lean on Jesus". Every year He grows sweeter than the year before. We can sing that old song with more understanding now, "Through many dangers toils and snares I have already come. Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far and Grace will lead me home." It is truely Amazing Grace.
We love you all very much,

Becky,
Thank you for giving me Cody's name. I could not think of it and have wondered how he was. We ran into them at the hospital when we were there in November. Trey had had a cathscan and we went up and dropped off treats at the clinic. Cody was there. I had not known of his relapse. What was his mom's name? I am so embarrassed to never remember things like that but our cancer fight seems so long ago. We will be honoring Andrew Thursday on his birthday. Think of him for us on that day. It will be another difficult day that should be so joyous. Yes I am joyous to have had him in my life.

Thanks for the updates. I check weekly. Valerie

Hello Mitchell,

I thank God for you and Mommy every day; you have both taught me much about life, faith, the power of prayer and how to touch God's heart.

Who would know that "get me" a simple child's game could carry such a powerful message. Yesterday, when you asked "get me" you were really wanting my attention, my effection ... you wanted me. What joy came over you as I began to chase you through out the house; your laughter filled the room, your giggles filled my ears and my heart began to melt.

Though my wind got short and my legs grew weary, my spirit soared with the realization that you're here and wanting me. Now I understand a little more about how the Lord feels when he cries "get me".

This is what Bro. Tenney was talking about in God Chasers. Today I have revelation and understanding of what it means to chase after God and show him my hearts desire; it's his heart.

I love you guys ... Daddy

Mitchell, Becky and James, I hope you are having a great time in Florida. Are you all going on his Make a Wish. If so Give kids the World is such a wonderful place. We have been transferring our videos of our trip there over on to DVD during our Xmas break. It is the first time we have looked at the videos. It was too hard to look back the first two years after Andrew's death. The trip was priceless to us although the travel probably made Andrew's time on earth shorter, the memories it provided us will always be special. I know you will always look back on this trip fondly. For you it marks the end of a difficult time. Take care and I will be watching for pictures of Disney. Valerie

Thankyou for sharing Mitchell's story on this web-page. I can only imagine the full range of emotions you have all gone through. I am so thankful that today Mitchell is healthy and thriving!

I cherish the time I spend with my friend Mitchell during the school day. He is such a joy! He never ceases to amaze me with all of his new found knowledge. I'd say one of the best parts of each day is when I say "Goodbye Mitchell, I'll see you tomorrow" and he looks at me with that great smile and those beautiful eyes and says "I'll see you tomorrow Hartt".

How blessed we are to have tomorrow with sweet Mitchell.

Dear Becky,
Here's you a witness girlfriend! We talked about some stuff this morning on the phone and I hadn't even visited your webpage yet, so God must be speaking to me this morning. I'm really tired this morning and barely have a voice to speak but my heart is just bursting with the joy of the Lord. Because Jesus lives, I can face tomorrow and the next day, and the day after that. I had a fantastic weekend, 3 days doing something I love to do, which is praising and worshiping God in song. Let me tell you, I just want everyone to get their ticket on board the Jesus train. I've tried to add to this guestbook about 6 times today and it just wouldn't work so the devil must be at it again trying to keep our good work from happening.
We had a good laugh this morning about me having my 9 ft Christmas tree up with only 5 glass balls hanging on it at this very moment. But it's okay because my family knows what Christmas is all about and it's not about a Christmas tree. If we don't get it decorated more than that it's okay and we'll just put the ornaments back in the attic till next year.
Mitchell, we're so proud of how you’re doing in school and you just keep them on their toes.
We love you guys and are looking forward to next week.

Becky, James and Mitchell,

I just finished reading the praise reports concerning

Mitchell, my eyes are filled with tears of joy, and my

heart filled with Thanksgiving for such a Wonderful Saviour

and his name is Jesus, a name above all other names and

the only name, that can bring healing, and salvation.

I believe Becky, that you certainly sound like you believe

the Bible, but you should, seeing you are fourth

generation Pentecostal, and now Mitchell is fifth

generation. The scriptures you quoted was such an

inspiration to me, since I am your Grandmother, and my

daughter Sue, your Mother, it made me realize attending

church, and reading the Bible makes a difference in the

time of trouble. Since you were that little girl, I

talked to you about God, from the time you were big enough

to understand. It has paid off

I am so thankful for James, he is such a wonderful

Christian and has such great faith, and also established

in the word. So many prayers I prayed for Mitchell, and

both of you. God has not failed, and yes I want to walk

on the water with you, and Jesus.

Love To My Greatgrand Son Mitchell,
&
His Wonderful Parents

Dear Mitchell, Mom and Dad,
What a beautiful testimony of God's Grace and healing power. Becky I am so thankful that you learned the word of God at a very young age. God's word is so powerful, especially in time of trouble. When God tells you something, and you believe it no matter what the circumstances dictate, He will bring it to pass. He will if we will believe. Mitchell is living proof of God's Word. Nana and Papa love you, Mitchell and we will see you soon in Disney World for Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas we will have. Praise God for His love and "favor".

As I was checking my buddy Jake's site, I read your entry and when I saw "Texas", I had to stop by and say hello. I am so glad I did. Your faith is fantastic. Yes we are a Peculiar people, us believers. But I would not have it any other way. My faith in the LORD has increased 1000 fold since my little girl was diagnosed. HE has led me this far and I will follow HIM to the end. God Bless you all. If it is ok, I will stop by quite frequently to let you know that we are praying for Mitchell and the rest of the family. Will he be in k'garten next year? I think he has one more year. I will go back to full time teaching next year in Klein school district being a core curriculum specialist at Trey's school. The job was God sent and I look forward to it. It will help me fill the days that are empty without taking Andrew to chemo, etc. I worked some last year and found it very helpful. Take care and update this site!!!!! WE WANT NEW PICTURES, James!!! We will keep praying that Mitchell keeps on track.

At Smile Quilts, we make virtual quilts for children who can use a smile. We would be thrilled to include Mitchell, by making a personalized virtual online quilt just for him. Other children and families going through these battles need all the encouragement they can find. Stop by our site http://smilequilts.com and request a Smile Quilt for Mitchell. Prayers for continued good health.

Congratulations to all of you. My name is Angela Newton Ard, I am Lexy Flory's aunt, John's daughter. I met Mitchell the first weekend Lexy was in the hospital and I ask of him often. God is so wonderful. We are now experiencing the 9th floor with our own son Noah, on January 29th he was diagnosed with Leukemia, not as frightening as a solid tumor but still it scares us, but I have learned that God will see us through this as long as we keep our faith in him. Good luck to all of you and may the Lord continue to bless your family. Always in our prayers.

Mitchell What a little GQ model you are. I saw you on the news this morning. You looked great!!! (mom looked pretty good herself) I was also so impressed with your talking. You have come out of your shyness. I may have to get one of those calendars and surround myself with the positive side of cancer treatment. God Bless you and keep you strong and healthy for a long long time. (Do you still love Buzz Lightyear?) In the words of Andrew and Buzz I hope you will always go "Too infinite and beyond."

Dear Mitchell,

Great Grandma Bonnie told me you had a website. She said you would be happy if I wrote to you on your website.

It made me very sad when we got the news that you had a bad disease, cancer. I talked to Jesus about it! I then knew from the very biginning, it would be alright! You would be alright!!

I am so glad the BAD STUFF is all behind you.
Now, you are ready to finish your life.

Bad things that happen to us are the things that help us build our faith muscles so we can speak to mountains that get in our way in the future.

Your future is as bright as the promises of God. "I can do all things through Jesus who makes me strong and gives me faith"! Everybody is given faith by God. When we use our faith, we get some more.

Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.

My name is Jayne. I am your Aunt Jayne. I live in Indiana.
I am Nanna's sister. There are 9 people in my family. Melanie, Jeff, Jackie, Ted, Taylor, Mackenzie, Audrey, Tess, and Connor. There were 10 people in our family, but Jesus took Grandpa Ted to Heaven a few years ago. We miss Him, but His work on Earth was all finished, so God took Him to Heaven. God had something better for Him there.

We all love Jesus, too. He is our best friend. He has done many miracles for us, too! We are happy you will be able to finish your life on earth. Jesus has done many miracles and He will do more and more miracles when we believe. I am glad we will all get to see each other on Thanksgiving at Nanna and Pa Pa's house. Melanie, Jeff, Ted, Jackie, Taylor, Mackinzie, Audrey, Tess, and Connor, your cousins, will be there, too. I am glad you will get to see each other.

We are all Jesus's CHILDREN. He knows us all by name. He knows how many hairs are on our head. He even knows when a little bird dies. He knows all about each one of us. When we need His help, all we have to do is ask for it. I bet He even knows all of our email addresses! Wow! He is a BIG AND WISE GOD!! Nothing is too hard for Him!

Love,
Aunt Jayne

Mitchell,
Nana and Papa are so happy you are coming to our house for Thanksgiving! We love you soooooo much. We are so thankful for what our great God has done for you. You are such a great little fighter. We know Jesus put that fight in you. No matter what had to be done to you, you always came out swinging. Your Mommy, Daddy, and Nana and Papa learned so much about the spiritual fight of faith during this time in your life. We know as you grow older you will have a better understanding the wonderful Savior we serve.
And to your Daddy and Mommy, we would like to say, no child could have better parents than you two. Not only did you do everything physically posibble, but you knew how to pray and believe without wavering. We love you all and look forward to a Great Thanksgiving with you.
Love,
Nana and Papa

Becky,

Bernadine told me about Mitchell's web site. I am so excited about the healing your son has tapped into. Healing has been prepaid by Jesus stripes for all humanity to be healed. Not just one, but all humanity. EVERYONE. John 17:17 says God's Word is Truth. Hebrews 6:18 says God cannot lie. The book of Isaiah is God's Word. God caused Isaiah to prophesy concerning Jesus,"with his stripes we are healed" Isaiah 53:5. Jesus took those stripes in Pilate's hall (John 19:1) as prepayment for any and everyone's healing. By the way, Pastor Reeves says the stripes are still on Jesus body and they still flow with healing. He says if someone gives you a prepaid phone card, all you have to do is dial in the right numbers and the call is already paid for. Well, Jesus has prepaid healing for us, not with money, but by suffering the pain and bearing the stripes of a beating in our place to purchase our healing. Jesus said in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." You have believed His report. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY, FOR THE THINGS HE HATH DONE.
THIS WAS MY DARLING GREAT GRAND SON, THE DOCTORS
DIDN'T GIVE A GOOD REPORT, AND THEN I ASK MYSELF THE
QUESTION, "WHOSE REPORT WILL YOU BELIEVE? I WILL BELIEVE
THE REPORT OF THE LORD." WHY? BECAUSE JESUS, IS THE
GREAT PHYSICIAN, HE NEVER LOST A CASE, HE NEVER PREACHED A
FUNERAL, WHEN HE ARRIVED EVEN THE DEAD CAME BACK TO LIFE.

Hi Mitchell, I thought I'd drop by to say hello again and to tell you a little about Peter. You both had a similar battle and I want you to know that reading your success story has brightened our lives. Peter had ARMS stage 4. It started the same place yours did but not found as soon as yours and it traveled to his brain and stopped of at a few other places on it's way to the top. I stress that Peter HAD and is now soon a 5 year survivor, December 8 is our miracle date. God also touched Peter and cured him. God has very special work for you and Peter to continue. Your great success is the begining of your work for God and we all know that it was no easy task. We need you to keep up the good work and remember always to give it back to the Lord, He loves you so dearly. You have a great mom, we've been talking on email and she really is special. I see it has rubbed of on you as well. Keep your strong faith alive!

Love and continued prayers,

Mitchell,
I love your picture on the website. You have grown so much now that you are finished with that terrible but blessed chemo. I don't really know the words to describe my happiness that you are cancer free and we all know that that will be the next report you get. We are preparing for the sadness of the day in which Andrew too became cancer free. Although it was not in the way we had hoped, we know he is not suffering and is playing with many of his TCH friends in God's wonderful Heaven. I remember too fondly the battles you and Andrew had over Buzz Lightyear on the chemo floor and at the clinic. I am honored to have known your family and the strength they exude. My prayers are for your continued growth in speech so that one day you can use your strong words to tell of your travels through cancer. You have shown such strength. Love Valerie

Hello: Mitchell has been an important part of a 2003 calendar project that me, my wife and other volunteers have been working on. The project has grown quite large and we are nearing the printing stage of this calendar of which Mitchell is featured on one of the months. There have been many headaches in this project but learning of Mitchells story from this web page has helped us to focus on the real story here. Mitchell, I am 42 years old and I have 3 children, one named Mitchell that is your age and your story draws a tear to my eye. You are an important inspiration to one dad that you don't even know. Thanks for your courage and sharing your story. We'll all face challenges ahead and knowing more about what your experience has been for you and your family will help others to believe in the Lord and follow his guidance when we think all is lost. Hurray for you and your family!

HELLO THERE! Thank you for setting up this site. I see Andrew's dad, Len beat me here. Praise God for the miracles he has worked in Mitchell's life. I think you are the officially elected lead prayer family for all these cancer kids. Of course the rest of us will never stop praying, either! Your little guy is so sweet and beautiful. I'll be away for 10 days, but will check this site as soon as I get back to read the continuing miracle of Mitchell and any other stories you may enter in the journal. Our love to your family. And prayers and thoughts will be coming your way always. My little niece's site is posted below. They will update again, soon.
