Michael McCauley
In February 2003, Michael was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the left temporal lobe. This tumor was causing him to have seizures and language difficulties. After a year of trying to beat the seizures with medicine, we decided to have the tumor removed. The tumor was successfully removed at Johns Hopkins Hospital on June 1, 2004. Above, Michael and Marcie are shown at the Duke Medical Center, after delivering Boredom Buster boxes made possible through a donation from JJ Redick (2nd from left).

Monday, June 9 2008 Hi everyone,
Michael has been awarded a $2,000 grant from Auntie Annes pretzels towards his Boredom Busters. He is hoping to get a lot of boxes done and delivered to the hospital in the next couple of months. Donations of items to put in the boxes would be greatly appreciated. Anything helps even if it is small.
Some of the items that we need most are small boxes of crayons, something to write on like Post it notes, small games, little toys. Everything needs to be new items because of the risk of infection to the kids.
If you would like to send something the address is:
13700 Rosetree Court Chantilly, VA 20151
Thank you so much.
