Hello Everyone....I thought it was time for another update. Caleb is doing GREAT! He is finally starting to grow. It is a very slow process, but he is moving in the right direction. He is enjoying his pre-school class. Practicing hard for his Christmas show. I hear him singing all the time. Anything from Ruldoph the Red Nose Reindeer to Hark the Herold Angels Sing. He is also working hard learning how to read. As with everything in his life he shows GREAT determination! His writing is improving too. I am working closely with James' old Kindergarten teacher (who will hopefully be Caleb's teacher next year too) to guide me in teaching him. I enjoy working with him because he is a sponge at this age and just longs to learn. He started playing on a soccer league back in November and just loves it. Tonight is practice and he reminds of that as often as he can. It is nice for him to just be a kid for once. The doctors say he should only have another couple months of phelbodomy sessions. Of course that all depends on his numbers. They are coming down slowly but surely. Caleb received his wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation in October. He said that he wanted to meet Mickey Mouse. So they sent us over to Orlando (in a limo) for a week. We stayed at a village called Give Kids the World. What an AMAZING place! If you ever think your life is difficult take a trip there and volunteer. It is village for children that have or have had life threatening illnesses. Those children will melt your heart. I found myself crying when I watched some of them. Just being thankful for both my boys adn who they are. These children were heroes to me. We visited seven parks in five days. What a whirlwind of fun! The boys will never for get that experience. If you want to see some pictures please visit our my space page. We put different pictures up as often as we can. The web address is: myspace.com/weaselfamily We are headed to Ohio for the holidays. Michael's family is there and we are all looking forward to seeing them. The drive not so much, but we will get through it. The boys are excited and want to make sure that Santa knows where they will be. James made sure in his letter. Hopefully there will be some snow for the boys to enjoy. James is doing wonderful in school. He just got his report card a couple of weeks ago. He is crazy smart! We just finished his project for his gifted class and he had to present it to the class last week. Seven years old and already giving five minute speechs that he has to memorize. I give the boy credit because I don't think I could have done that at his age. His teachers taped the presentation and sent it home for us to watch. He did a wonderful job! He has also started playing on a basketball league. Between Caleb's soccer and James basketball our schedules are quite busy. Thankfully there games a far enough apart that we get to see them both. James plays at 9am and then Caleb plays at 11am on Saturday's. We are having fun watching them. James continues to receive allergy shots. That I believe is going to be an ongoing thing. He's a trooper though! Well, we hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Stay safe and have fun!
