The days just keep getting more eventful in the Tomberlin household. Heather, our daughter, was not feeling well this morning and by lunch time I began seeing spots on her body. I had to take her to urgent care to get a diagnosis. She has CHICKEN POX. Since Daniel has been directly exposed, he must take a huge dose of anti-viral medication and we leave this in God's hands that Daniel will not show any symptoms. If he does, he will be hospitalized immediately. I'm a nervous wreck and I'm asking for all prayers warriors to pray for my family. As Jody stated in the last post, I had to make an emergency trip to Asheville on Wednesday. Daniel was so weak he would not even sit in his wheelchair. God's hand was in the entire process to get blood ordered and infused in Daniel by the time the outpatient clinic closed. Friday was another long day in Asheville. Daniel's platelet count took a dive from Wednesday to Friday so we had to wait for platelets on Friday. Since Daniel had a platelet transfusion this week, his next round of chemo cannot be ordered next week. So Daniel will have an extra week off to enjoy his birthday and Thanksgiving. Daniel's birthday is next Saturday. Daniel still continues to have issues with ingrown toenails. I will be making another trip to Asheville on Monday to take him to a foot doctor. Thanks for your prayers and support.\ Cindy
