Hi Everyone! This is from Kyshia. There are two events this Saturday, October 18th. The first is the LungStrong Walk/Run for lung cancer awareness and research support. Please go to www.lungstrong.com for race info and details. The second is an open house event here in Waxhaw at the new Waxhaw Family Physicians Building. This is a community event celebrating the long awaited opening of the new building which houses Waxhaw Family Physicians, a locally owned and operated pharmacy and sports medicine practice. We will have a table dedicated to Kris and his family and their story of lung cancer at the open house. If you have a minute, please stop by! This past week Pastor Maurice Henson's wife passed away. Kris and Renee attended a beautiful life celebration service at the church Tuesday evening. Please extend your thoughts and prayers to this wonderful, giving, loving and faithful family. Also, not to extend this message too long, please pray for our country, our children, our economy and our future. This is an important time in our country and you have a voice. Pray .......... and then lift up your voice and be heard........ vote. Kris has his scan at the end of October. Please, please, please think about him and send your prayers his way.
