Well, it's now been just over a year since Kristina's glorious entry into heaven. It's been amazing to watch what God has done during that time. If you have never heard the song "Legacy" by Nicole Nordemann, please go out and listen to it. Kristina's friends created a video presentation about her life set to that song. For those of you who know her, you'll immediately understand that Kristina lived that song. What a legacy she left! She still inspires me. I have very intentionally started exposing the girls to that song and they love it. Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers you've all provided on this website for around 19 months now. They've been well-received. It's natural to miss Kristina in a particularly intense way during the "hurdle" days, as I told her brother Keith. But let's not forget to celebrate her very well-lived life and her glorious entry into her heavenly father's presence. Remember, she is happier and healthier right now than she's ever been. Praise God! It just wouldn't be consistent with Kristina's character and her desire if I didn't mention one other thing. If there is anyone who reads this who wonders why she was so engaging, so full of life, so kind, so caring and so positive right down to the end of her natural life here on earth--there's only one reason. Jesus Christ. Kristina loved her Lord. She had asked for forgiveness of her sins and had been reconciled with God through the sacrifice of His son Jesus. He infused her with spiritual life as a result of that and it created that wonderful human being that we all love so much. And that spiritual life never dies. It just changes locations. And the second location is far greater than the first. So if you haven't already, please follow Kristina in the most important decision she ever made. Ask the Lord to reconcile you through the sacrifice of His son Jesus. Admit to Him that you realize you've fallen short of the glory of God and that you'd like to be forgiven and reconciled to Him. He will forever change you if you do. God bless! John
