~*~Jamie Kelly~*~
In Our Hearts Forever....

Born August 2, 1977-Heaven's Angel September 6, 2004

Thanks for stopping by to check on Jamie. Jamie lived a very happy life of 27 short years. Married in June of 1995. A Devoted Mother to her two beautiful children Whitney 8, and Braiden 6. Jamie went into the hospital July 1st with flu like symptoms. She was diagnosed with pnuemonia. Later it attacked her respiratory system. She then had a condition called ARDS (ACUTE OR ADULT RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME). She battled and fought for 2 and a half months until her body could not take anymore. She is now FREE and watching over all that she Loved. We Love her so much, and her physical presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.

Welcome to the Jamie Kelly Website..This website was setup to keep Family and Friends updated on Jamie while she battled a viscious and deadly disease called ARDS..As for Family and Friends this was a journey filled with Love and Hope..Without Hope, there is no Hope..This is a journey where a Small Community rallied together to help out to Jamie and the Family in our time of need..The comfort and support from Friends, Family, community, and strangers all over the world helped us cope when things seemed so dark..Although Jamie's story has a sad ending, we find peace that she no longer has to suffer..Jamie's Life was nothing but pure Happiness, and we survive on her many Memories..We have kept this website open in Hopes that we may be able to help someone else that is going through the ARDS rollercoaster ride..Jamie's site is listed on Many of the other ARDS websites, and I (Trina) recieve emails from Families all over the world with stories that are so simular to ours..As we mourn our loss and move forward on our Journey without Jamie physically here with us, we would like to Thank everyone that comes to visit, and everyone that has helped us throughout our Journey..Jamie Lives on through her two Beautiful Children Whitney and Braiden...The Kids continue to Amaze us, and give us Hope for our own Future and Loss..One day the Children can look back on thier Mom's Journal and see a Journal of the Most Bravest Mom around.. With Hearts that have been broken, we can simply say, Our Lives are better just knowing Jamie April Kelly..

Today, I will be making a huge move. I will be leaving behind a very important 2 years of my life. Today, will be my last entry to caringbridge.

I cannot tell you how attached I have become to this little webpage. I come here to write and cry, laugh, rant, ramble, and vent. In doing this, you all have been with me every step of the way. I cannot Thank you enough for following along on this journey. You all have made it possible for me carry on Jamie's memory, and support us through the darkest of days.

I also Thank Caringbridge for allowing me to keep all posting during Jamie's hospital days, and into now. I never dreamed the is page would have over 35,000 hits.

Although I am leaving this chapter of my life behind, I invite you to my newer blog as I continue to write about Jamie and our life without her.

The reason for the move is for many. The most important change is due to the fact that caringbridge is here for families during hospital stays, recoveries, treatments, etc. At first I was going to keep the new blog private, but decided to share with everyone as I have done in the past, our life without her. I feel that 2 and half years later, I am ready to move forward. Please join me.
