Another year without having that precious little Shawn here on earth. I still remember the day that his Grandma Pauline called to tell me that I was a great Aunt. I have not signed in for a long time, I see a lot has happened. I lost a son at Christmas time too in 93.. Its never a good time to loose some one in the family but it seems holidays are even worse. my youngest son and his family are moving back to Lincoln and are really happy to be getting back to 'home and huskers' I think abot you and your famly a lot, just dont seem to sign the guest books like I used too. hope things are going better for you now as a new school year is about to start.

Mel, I had ordered a ribbon for Shawn on the candlelighters tree but I guess they arent mailing them - usually they mail the gold ribbons out in Jan when the tree comes down but I didnt get any of them this year so maybe
they didnt... just wanted you to know he was up there though.... I had my gallbladder taken out years ago, yah its not pleasant I am sure Curt can tell you. I also recently (last Aug) found out I am diabetic too. Bad. And its tough controlling the sugars, but he has to. Its really important to watch each meal. When it rains it pours is right, my sister in law was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. she doesnt seem to know how little time they estimate she has. and none of us want to be the one to tell her, we figure when the time is right for her to know, she will ask the dr. herself. Gotta run to work, been crazy here.
