I am amazed that you are still upright, Tami? I would be on the ground, crying, screaming, and dragging as I attached myself to the docs feet! I cannot believe this! I would be furious and I wouldn't leave the hospital until I had both docs in the same room. You could slap one and kick the other! What a horrible thing for Sami to have to go through. Please tell me that they are going to deal with this now? Keep us posted....

Stupid pompous ignoramous poo-poo people. Next time someone decides to ignore anything you say at their Oh so prestigious medical institution, do what I do. Get up into their personal space and scream,"You DO NOT want a piece of THIS (stop, gesture vaguely toward yourself) lift the corner of one lip in a mean snarl,(looking a little like you might have a hare-lip) and then kinda make a growly sound. If they don't hop to as fast as the Roadrunner, look all crazy-like and step forward, flare your nostrils and scream, long and loud!!! Works like a charm sometimes. No need to thank me. If you end up at the county jail, Donny can spring you, right?

I'm confused about the port problem. Sam's port stopped working because it wasn't accessed during the week she had surgery? Is that right? Do they have to be accessed every week? I remember during the 1st trial when there was no enzyme and the kids had to go several weeks w/o therapy-we didn't access Spencer just to keep his line open, and if the girls have ever missed an infusion we didn't access to flush saline and hep through the line. But should we have? Help, I need to know the rules again!!!I am losing it day by day or maybe minute by minute!!!! EEEEK!

It's amazing what our bodies give us and what we turn around and can handle - give my love to Sam and we'll be praying. My Dad still asks how she's doing all the time, except he can never remember her name - he always says 'your friend there, sam is that it, the really out-going energetic one?!' Oh Tami, I have only been through about 1/200 of what Sammi has been through but I know all about being in the hospital and feeling like giving up. I am the worst patient and I just shut down.
