We're so sorry to read about the scare. We know that feeling all too well. It's so true about how much worse it could have been. Dear Bushaws,

Seems like it's been forever. Can't believe the summer is almost over and we're talking school again.

It's too bad the boys have to go through these crappy doctors appointments at all, but before school, too. We'll be thinking of Owen as he gets his teeth pulled. Cooper would be happy if he just lost one! Still has all of his teeth and it's bothering him A LOT!

We can barely stand to think of Logan going for his heart cath. Those procedures sickened me. Not sure about bringing upon the SVT's. Don't like the sound of that, but I get the electrophysiologist is probably the best one to do it. I'm sure you'll get the whole low down on the entire plan of WHAT and WHO will be in the cath lab. I always thought the parents should be offered some sort of cocktail while the kids were in the cath lab. No one liked my suggestion. Better the parents than the doctors!

It really goes without saying that we'll be holding your whole family in prayer. Please get him out of there as soon as possible! It's about the nicest thing we can say. Well, one more nice thing...we always thought Dan Gruenstein was a good guy. Hopefully, he'll be doing the procedure.

Aloha Ohana. Its Monday evening already here, about 6:30 so after midnight in Florida. We hope that everyone is getting a good nights sleep to be ready for Disneyland tomorrow. Your post from Friday sounded so much better and we're praying that each day is better for Logan and everyone else. Today was a little rainy here but we were on a trip to the north shore and it cleared up by the time we got there. We stopped at a beach today that had 3 huge sea honus (turtles) resting on the beach. There were a few more in the water that we could see and one of them had an antenna and transmitter on its shell. It was cool. We hope to see you all on Easter. Our love and prayers always, G&GB.

We're glad to read the latest that everything is returning to an acceptable normal. For the last two nights we have had pupu's for supper. What a crazy name for appetizers. It sounds pretty great though when somebody asks what you had to eat and you can say "pupu's." Logan, you'll have to tell Owen for us. We pray for the proper decision to be made concerning your trip. Owen was probably dreaming about Satan because she used to roam those hospital halls. Tell him a little angel told us she's left the state. All is well.

Hi Guys! Just thought I'd stop by and see how you guys were doing. I love the pictures! You guys look so happy! I just wanted you to know that I'm still thinking of you and continuing to pray that each day is a great day for you both! It's really quiet here at Macy's with almost all the people gone. Hi, guys,

Your household sounds like ours...minus the living at the hospital crap. I hope they checked Logan a few times for RSV because it took almost four tests on Jack for a positive to come back on the RSV. Apparently, there are a lot of false negatives? Anyway, glad to hear he got approved for synagis. Jackers got his synagis shot today. I could have kicked myself for not pushing him getting it this year. RSV is ugly without having any heart problems.

We sure hope you guys are feeling better soon. It's so hard to manage the kids and work along with being sick yourself. We sure do miss you and think about you often. Maybe sometime we'll see each other again, huh... If you're ever at the hospital, please do stop by, okay? Hopefully, we will be getting a heart this months of hearts.

Hi Logan and Owen. It sure was great to see you two last night at Macy's Christmas Show party!!! You looked so handsome! I'm glad you were able to see Santa and tell him what you would like for Christmas! And I bet you liked the Christmas show too. Isn't it fun to see how they make all those fun things happen like the Christmas tree getting bigger? Did you know that they used 300 pounds of glitter in that show?? What great pictures of the boys,,,they are looking SO good! It's so nice to see your family enjoying "normal" summer activities! I had a really strange thing happen,,,I know your family is on the south end of the metro, and I live on the north,,,I was in Costco one day buying large amounts of vittles for the teenage packs of wolves that come through the house....I saw what I think was the Grandmother with twin boys the same age about and who looked EXACTLY, or darn close to, the Bushaw boys!!! I am thinking about all of you right now as you celebrate grandma Debbie's life with many tears and laughter, just the way she would have wanted. I had the chance to meet and see grandma Debbie a few times in the past year and every time I saw her she was glowing and you got the sense of kindheartedness when you were around her. I would always ask her how she was and she would respond "I am doing fine" and before you knew it she was asking you the same. She seemed to put everyone else's worries and troubles before her own. What a special lady! I remember when she came to watch the boys one day and brought them stickers, I mean TONS of stickers! As I was leaving the boys started putting them all over grandma Debbie and she just stood there laughing. She probably had 50 or more on her and all she could do was laugh. That is probably the memory that will be with me and the boys will have many more. May God watch over the Bushaw family and be by your side as you go through this difficult time. You have some great pictures posted and nice thoughts from your mom. Both of you are amazing boys and God has truly been good. We really liked the last letter posted from you both too. Grandma and I sure had fun when you stayed over last week! We hope you will stay over again this summer. Logan, I'm still looking for the "secret place" that the Michelin man bobblehead is hiding. Good to know everyone is doing well. You are right, it is amazing to realize how fast time goes by. The more you have to do in life, the faster it goes, it seems. I noticed some ice melting off our roof yesterday which made me think of all that has happened this winter. The backyard toys and the sandbox are all there, just waiting for spring and for Owen & Logan to come over and play again. (The sandbox is frozen shut.) I am so happy that things are going well!!! I also use cotton balls for blowing-- we blow them off our hands, we blow them harder off our hands to see if we can hit each other with our "snowballs." We lay on the floor and blow cotton "snowballs" down the hall for races. We pile up different colored pom poms and try to sort them by color, moving them only with our breath, etc. I like the lung exercise the kids receive and it means I can hide their horns for a few hours!

Hi Boys(and mom and dad.) Grandpa Paul checking in from Scottsdale sunday night. It's been snowing here this evening and 38 degrees at 6 oclock pm. It's SO nice to check in and see wonderful pictures of your family at Christmas.What a difference in Logan from the hospital pictures! These kids have stamina beyond belief! The family resemblance is there, definitely, from both sides! Now that the Bushaw name is familiar, we are recognizing Natalie popping up all over, in Mpls./St.Paul mag,yesterday in the paper, with the 104 Annie employee at Macy's!! I'm sure you guys give out to others as much as your family has recieved, support and likewise. That's what we are all here for, to lift each other and carry through the hard times! Thanks for the links also, very interesting what people have done through good will. Here's to a new year that is UNEVENTFUL in the health care dept.,just mundane, routine, beautiful 3 year old twin boys, please!!
