Hi Bailey, So sorry that you are not feeling well. We pray that the antibiotics will work really soon and that you will be running around in no time and start gaining some of that weight back that you lost. We also pray that your immune system kicks in and starts working overtime so that you don't get every bug that flies by. We will have your "Locker Room" finished soon and it will be such fun to see you playing hockey there! Love always, Nonny and Papa

I am thinking of you all as you start 3 months of Craputane as we call it in our house. As a matter of fact we are finishing up round 6 of the stuff. We are waiting to hear if we need to do more since he had a few problems with it and had to stop from time to time. If we do not have to take anymore I will have a few 10 and a few 40mg pills left over. If it is allowed to mail it and you are interested I will share:)I will let you know if the NYC docs think we need them or not.

Good Morning, Bailey is truely our miracle! Watching him yesterday playing hockey and climbing over the air-hockey table with little discomfort gives us to believe that he will be fine. He is the most amazing little dude ever. We should all learn a lesson from him and know that God is in control and put our faith in Him to take care of us.

Dearest Bailey, Seeing you at home with all your family was the greatest gift anyone could ever receive. Little Cameron missed you all sooooo much. We had a lot of fun with him but he was really excited to get you all home. Nana had the best 77th Birthday she could have ever hoped for having her great-grandchildren around her. Next year, maybe Lexi can be there, too. Now we just have to work on getting you completely well so you can all stay home for good!!!!! All our Love always, Nonny and Papa and Nana

You will be in our constant prayers for the next week. Our specific prayer will be for a miracle to happen, that the mass will be smaller, and that surgery is not needed. May the meeting with Fr. Pinto be filled with Christ's love and His protective hands be over you. All our love and prayers.

Dear Kelly & family, I know you through my Mom and have followed your updates. It is my belief that God welcomes our requests for miracles. The Lord blesses me each day, it is evident; and the Lord has indeed provided miracles-
those asked for and many unexpected. Please know, prayers are always answered, though sometimes not in our time or way. Bailey is so loved - by you & your family, by friends like my Mom (Henri), by strangers like myself and by God. Thank you for your updates; you are in my prayers and on my prayer-chain in Phoenix.

Bailey,
Wishing you the best of luck in your journey to New York. We pray that the doctors give you the best news you could ask for. I've heard wonderful things about Father Pinto and hope that the service you'll be attending will be uplifting and encouraging. I know it's been a long time since I've seen your mom, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle, but your family will always hold a special place in my heart. Stay strong and be well.

I had originally planned to visit as many caringbridge sites as possible, and leave some encouraging words, prior to my daughters passing. Unfortunately her passing came sooner than we had expected, but longer than any of her doctors expected.

Another angel takes flight.

My daughter Pam had a brain tumor and was fighting the fight since November 4th, 2002, after the birth of her daughter (Casey Morgan). My youngest daughter, Karen, set up a caringbridge website for Pam. Karen's friends mother shared a prayer with us, that I would like to share with you and Bailey. It's called DON'T QUIT:
Don't Quit -
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit - Rest if you must, but do not quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a fellow turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup. And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.(Just call on Jesus).

I would also like to share a saying that was on the card my wife Diane picked out, and we bought for Pam:

If you were a star
That wasn’t expected back
In the universe
For a thousand years,
I’d wait.

If you were the sky
And everyone went inside
When you got sad
And started to rain,
I’d stay.

And if you were a peach
And the world decided to get rid of all peaches,
I’d pick you up,
Put you in my pocket…

AND KEEP YOU.

Prayers have scientifically been proven to work.

REMEMBER NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT. You are in our prayers. GOD bless you all.

My yellow nape amazon, Tripoli, thought you'd like a picture of a bird in your guestbook. She is a show off! Did you know she she sings Yankee Doodle, Saints Come Marching In, and Old Mac Donald Had A Farm? She also says 150 different things, such as (wolf whistle) "Wow! You're a ten!" Other things are "You're my baby," and "I love you" and "Whatcha doing?" and "I want outside!" She also tells me, "I want food." She also does MY laugh then says, "You're funny!" The last time I corrected her singing, she told me, "There ya go!" like SHE was teaching ME!

We are working on "Uh oh. I taste like chicken." Aren't I mean? Hee hee hee. Total, I have four birds. Tripoli, Pompeii (a severe macaw) Callao (a Half Moon Conure) and Mirage (a Congo African grey) They keep me busy! We're all thinking about you Bailey!

Hello Bailey and Family,

Just popped in to let you know that I'm thinking about you. Sounds like you had a really great 4th and being on the boat for fireworks. *wow* sounds like something I might have to do next year. *smiles* Kelly go for the colors for the aids. They look much better than the neutral ones. Samantha had them all...the only ones that we had problems with is the one that has several colors in it... that one was heavy and didn't last as long. Take care and have a great week. HUGS

Hi guys, I wanted to give you an update... we went to the doctor yesterday and THANKFULLY Isabella is fine. The doctor did find a heart murmur, but does not think it is anything to be concerned about. He will be monitoring it for the next year or so to see if there is any change, but we are very relieved and hopeful! You and your family are amazing! We thought about you so much yesterday! You are a symbol of strength and courage to all! Have a wonderful 4th!!!

Hi Guys,

I am so glad to read that everything is going well for all of you! My apologies for not being in touch lately. Life has been busy. The girls are almost 6 months and starting to roll over & get their teeth! God help me! We have also just had Joe's parents in town for a month visiting the girls for the first time! What a special treat!
We are unfortunately heading back to UCSF tomorrow to see a pediatric cardiologist for Isabella. Her pediatrician thinks he may hear something irregular. We are praying that everything will be ok! I just was hoping we would NEVER have to go back to that PLACE!! So, we ask you for your prayers again!
I am so happy to hear that overall, you are all doing well! I will pray that Bailey's hearing gets better! Prayers to all of you!
Love,
Julie

Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you. I'm very glad to hear that you are home now. Being home is alot better than being in an old hospital and I'm sure you agree. I hope the pain in your back goes away soon. Take care and always know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't know if you've been to Gooch's webpage lately, but Chris is doing "adopt a child" to make sure everyone gets support weekly in their guestbook. All that you need to do is sign their guestbook every week to show support. It is a great idea and I just wanted to let you know that I am adopting Bailey so you will be hearing from me quite often. Know that you will be in my families thoughts and prayers for continued success. If anyone you know wants to adopt a child with cancer, just go to www.caringbridge.org/page/gooch and scroll down to the right part, it will take you to the link to adopt. Kelly,

Thanks for visiting Matthew's site and for your encouraging words. Your boys are ADORABLE!! I hope Bailey is doing well and I will add you to my list of families to check on. It is so unfair that these precious little beings have to fight such nasty diseases. The fact that God gives us the strength to endure it is amazing to me. The biggest blessings in our lives are the friends we've met along the way. By the way, Lake Tahoe??? When can we come to visit? ha! ha! God bless and take care.

My name is Kari. I am your mommy's cousin. My husband Matt and my daughter Megan and son David have been praying for you every night. We are sooooo excited that you are finally able to get out of that hospital bed! How wonderful for you to be able to enjoy being outside again. We loved seeing your pictures on the web page. You look a lot like my son David. He is two too. You are such a tough little boy. Keep up the great work. We will continue to pray for your full recovery. We love you, but Jesus loves you the most!!

Dear Kelly & Ron,

It is great to see how Bailey is getting better. Praise God!!!!!! I love the pictures of little Bailey and how well he looks. He looks like he is ready to do the things a normal 2 year old is to do, that will keep Mom & Dad hopping. I know you both welcome it with open arms. How I know about Bailey is through the prayer net of Grace Community Church. Due to Pastor Brian's continual emails that has kept us up to date of Bailey's health, I am one of many that has had the privilege of being able to pray for you both and Bailey through this trying ordeal. I hope and pray that you all will get to home soon.

May God keep you and protect you.

Love

Chuck Cassise

Bailey, I'd like to address your wardrobe selection. I could'nt help but notice the drab black/silver selection. Not to worry though; blue/silver/white (cowboys)colors are on their way. Seeing that the Raider's and Cowboys will ultimately have identical records, you might as well "look" good. See ya pal.
