I was thinking of you this morning. We lived down the street from you on the corner, but moved 5 years ago. I just wanted to see how you are doing now. So glad that things are still going well for you.

Tpr Kintzel, Congratulations on your recovery and having your day in court. My very best to you and family. If I may offer this bit of advice, now it's time to forgive, but not forget. By forgiving, you will come out further ahead than you realize. Again, congratulations!

I tried to send you the following message on Myspace, but I got a message that I had to be on your friend's list in order to send you a message. Oddly enough, I remembered the address for this site afterwards, ha ha.

You probably don't remember me (after all, I was one of the MANY that kept up w/ your progress at caringbridge.com) but I used to leave messages on each entry at caringbridge.com. I lost the address after you changed it, so I haven't been able to check in for a while. It looks like you are doing better and better w/ every passing day. Sorry to hear about the divorce, though.

Anyway, I just thought I would let you know that you have been wanting to check in on you for a while now to see how you are doing. I'm glad to see you're doing so well. Like the eyebrow piercings, too. ; )

Take care,

Natasha

Trooper Kintzel,

Speaking from personal experience, I too was seriously injured in a vehicle crash involving my patrol unit in Orlando, Florida.I would like to share a few words and thoughts that I hope will bring some comfort to you on your road to recovery.

First of all. Good for you that you had your day in court. It has been long overdue that we fellow Law Enforcement Officers get our "day in court". It is high time that the public listens "OUR" side of the story. All to often the Law Enforcement Community is overlooked and unappreciated. We, as police officers are the "Chosen Ones" to protect the innocent and weak of our society. And you Trooper Kintzel, "A Chosen One" honored our society with your Ultimate act of bravery and for that I am proud to be a mem ber of the "Chosen Ones". My hat is off to you. Always remember this Trooper, you are also a member of the biggest and badest street gang around:) Never forget who you are and and always be proud of yourself. Though you may be hindered physically you will always be 10-8 (In service).
If you ever need to chat, feel free to call me any time.603-532-7315. May god bless you and your family.

Sincerely,
Warren Breau

Hi Trooper Kintzel!!! It's been a long time since we've heard anything...I hope that means that things are nice and quiet for ya!!! ; ) As much as I miss the updates, I know that your family has been faithful about updating us for QUITE a while now and did not owe us that. I imagine this journal is a list of things that your family needs to let go in order to get on w/ their lives...so I, for one, will accept that. I will keep my eyes peeled for news articles about my miracle trooper, though...I know we haven't heard the last of you!!! ; )

Take care, Trooper Kintzel...and thank you for allowing us all into your life.

Hello Trooper Bobby and family,
I have been returning to the old site and did not realize this one is here until I saw the name Kintzel added after Bobby. I just clicked on it and came up here. Yahoo, I am smiling from ear to ear.
This is so wonderful to see this again. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

Bobby - I was there for the sentencing, but didn't get a chance to talk to you because the throngs of Troopers were taking up the entire courtroom before I could get there!! You did incredibly well. I was happy to see you get the opportunity to look that coward in the eye and tell him what you thought of him. It was amazing to hear you speak so articulately.

Although most of us can't imagine what you have been through over the last three years, we are so admiring of your indomitable spirit and your incredible growth. The sacrifice you made that day for the safety of all of us was enormous. I hope you know that, in a wierd karma kind of way, the loss you suffered has given the world so much - by bringing us together through this web page and by your demonstration of courage and perseverance. Although the case is now over, you are still (and always will be) in our thoughts and prayers.

Whooo hooo, I'm #2!!! : D It's great to see a new page...I'm so happy to be able to continue keeping tabs on my miracle Trooper!!! : D I heard the court appearance went well...congratulations, Trooper Kintzel!!!

On Monday, 4/26/04, a police officer in my county was shot after a high speed chase. Luckily he was only hit in his arm and will recover nicely...but he has already undergone 2 surgeries to repair his shattered forearm. I know there are a lot of LEO supporters that visit your site and, if they would like to send a card, I would like to share an address where they can send words of encouragement to Sgt. Sutcliff.
