Dear Jackson- I have been following your journey since you were on MACS. That's a long time. I'm so glad your mom left an entry. I've been wondering how you are doing. I'm so happy the news is good, for you AND your family. I once told you that you were such a handsome boy. Well, that still is true. Only now you are a young man! And handsome on the INSIDE too. That's even more important. I wish you such a good life my friend. Be wise, listen to your conscience, and to God, and you will do well. I still love you! And I will miss your sweet face. You look like my 10 yr old grandson Blake!!! Your friend, Pat Pat Biksacky <patskyspad@yahoo.com> Orland Park, Il USA - Sunday, February 24, 2013 0:16 AM CST TO: Jackson DeMike we are all praying for you to grow healthy so we can hold you and tell you how thankful we all are that you are part of our family.A gift from God.A miracle....we cant wait to hold you..sweetie :) Jacque Stinson <stinsonjacque@gmail.com> Bloomington, MN USA - Thursday, October 13, 2011 7:54 PM CDT Ahhh Jackson! So glad to read about you again. I'm Pat, from MACS. I used to write to you alot when you needed love and prayers. And I always told you that you were the cutest little guy I had ever seen-even when you were bald-so handsome. And from what your Mom says-you are even more beautiful on the inside! You remind me of my grandson Blake, who is only seven, but cute as a button, and with a kind loving heart too. I'm sooo glad you are well. It's so wonderful to write to you just because I feel like it, and not with tears or sadness, but with joy! I will, of course, say a special prayer for you tonight-a prayer of thanks for your returned health-and for the blessing of knowing you, by reading your story, and following your journey. You did it! You are brave and good. You have a wonderful family! I wish you only the very best my friend! Keep up the good work sweetheart. All my love, Pat Pat Biksacky <patskyspad@yahoo.com> Orland Park, Il USA - Thursday, May 20, 2010 6:14 PM CDT I just read your story and wanted to let you know that you are one amazing young man. From the update, it sounds like all is well - which is great to hear!. Btw, I'm a big fan of the soccer picture too! Hopefully the transition from summer back to school went smoothly. We're almost there - once we get passed all the Back to School nights (three in a row!) & theater rehearsals start. Take care, Trevor's mom - Sunday, September 21, 2008 9:55 AM CDT Haven't had too much time lately to sign guestbooks...but I was blessed with some volunteers this week that blessed me with some extra time on my hands...so here I am! Happy to read how well Jackson is doing! Awesome that he could just be a kid this past summer. Our summer went way too fast...partially due to winter means snow and snow means shoveling and cold...but we will face that when it comes. Here's hoping great times continue to come for all of you!!! Also...Just wanted to share some words of encouragement for when life throws you a curve ball… “If we could, by some wonderful force from heaven, be allowed to slip from this earth in our present state and into the glory of heaven, we would not find one shred of evidence that reveals panic. You would never once hear “oops” from the lips of God, or “I wonder what we’re going to do about that down there?” Nor would we ever observe anxiety across the face of the living God. We would be stunned with amazement at how calm things are around his throne. From this side of glory we see the tapestry of life from underneath. It is full of knots and twisted threads and frayed ends that lack meaning and beauty. But from God’s perspective, looking at the top of the fabric, it is all under control.” From Encouragement for life by Charles Swindoll… May you see that glory of God in your life today….
