Dear Jackson- I have been following your journey since you were on MACS. That's a long time. I'm so glad your mom left an entry. I've been wondering how you are doing. I'm so happy the news is good, for you AND your family. I once told you that you were such a handsome boy. Well, that still is true. Only now you are a young man! And handsome on the INSIDE too. Ahhh Jackson! So glad to read about you again. I'm Pat, from MACS. I used to write to you alot when you needed love and prayers. And I always told you that you were the cutest little guy I had ever seen-even when you were bald-so handsome. And from what your Mom says-you are even more beautiful on the inside! It was great to hear your voice the other night Tiffany. I hope you did not end up buying every toy in the store as you tried to have a conversation with me while in Target with the kids! Thanks for the advice. It is Sat. evening and Scott and I still have not decided what to do about Alex's PCP medicine...I just do not want to give him anything else! Scott feels like we really have to; so we will have to "pick" the lesser of the evils by Monday morning (Uughh!) I am so glad Jackson is doing so excellent, and that you guys are getting on with life! Haven't had too much time lately to sign guestbooks...but I was blessed with some volunteers this week that blessed me with some extra time on my hands...so here I am!
Happy to read how well Jackson is doing! Awesome that he could just be a kid this past summer. Our summer went way too fast...partially due to winter means snow and snow means shoveling and cold...but we will face that when it comes. Here's hoping great times continue to come for all of you!!!

Hey Guys!! Thanks for the note from MAUI!!!! I guess you return tomorrow, you are probably ready, but then again, NOT!! I love Maui, and wish we could go back!! We are leaving tomorrow for D-Land. Jackson - Pompa was so happy getting to watch your baseball game last night, and what a game it was. You got some really good hits, but the most amazing play was that catch you made close to second base. That was a screamer hit, but you stayed right in front of it and caught it. What a great play! Jackson, ....what a strong, brave, and amazing little person you are. I am sure you're not even quite sure what exactly what you have just accomplished, but your mom (and dad) have done a very brave job of keeping the rest of us informed of the battle you have overcome!!!! Hey, and I am putting in a word for Faith too, since we all know that cancer affects the whole family!!! Being on the other side of treatment is so exciting. You all have been waiting for this time, for so long. Can you believe it's HERE!!!??? I also understand that it is a bit scary and that in a sense, chemo. had sort of a security blanket effect as well. We will continue to pray for Jackson's body, don't you think that just because he's done with chemo. that we won't still be praying....because we will!! :) I am excited for you all to move on, and for each day cancer is that much more removed from you life!!!!

Congratulations Jackson!! And to all the family--it is such a huge milestone. We started pretty close together, but that protocol difference meant Fergus stopped sooner. I am so glad Jackson is done now too. Whoo whoo! Welcome to the couch. There are still worries here, and sometimes restless nights (parents' nights, I mean), but life is so much nicer without chemo. Just wait until that first fever that doesn't mean an ER visit--blessed normalcy. When does Jackson get his port out?

Yippee!!!! I am so happy to know that an end is finally in sight for Jackson.
I have been so honored to have been a witness to his journey, and to have been an honorary *Jackson's A.L.L. Stars* member the last two years. Thank you for being part of the Friends of Heroes family, and making our dream of raising One Million dollars for the LLS a possibility. Next year we will be able to say that we have reached that goal. It wouldn't have been possible with out your help.
I will try to make it to Jackson's off treatment party, but if I can't I will be emailing you to get your mailing address, so I can send him a little something.
