I am Marc's cousin, Trudy Casto, of Clarkston, Washington. Marc and I recently "found" each other through the death of my Mother, Andy Thoen's little sister, Clara(Boots). It is no accident that today is the first time I have visited this site. Tomorrow I am scheduled for an ultra-sound test. I have been through two mamograms, waiting, breast needle-biopsies (9 segemtns from each), waiting,a diagnosis of Lobular Carcinoma In Situ, waiitng, a recent MRI, waiting, and now the ultra-sound.............but the look in little Lauren's eyes tell me that what I'm going through is as nothing !!! Thank you Marc, for sending me the address of this site. I will add it to my "Favorites" list.
May Our Lord continue to watch over all four of you.......t

Becky,
I came across your letter from a long time ago when I was cleaning out the computer drawer. I have thought of you often lately, so I checked this site. I am so thankful to hear that Lauren has made progess in different areas. You have done so much for her. It sounds like you have several doctor visits and surgeries ahead this summer. I hope things work out well for her eyes and in closing the feeding tube site. I loved your family picture...you haven't changed a bit!! I am still at home. our kids are 8 and 11. They keep me busy with all the activities and homework. I am Greg's gopher when field work is busy. I am thinking of finding a job either in teaching or something else to help contribute financially and to have something for myself. I havenever been bored at home and I do volunteering at school, library and church. Whenever I sub, I get excited about having my class again, however, I'm not sure I want all that comes with it. Are you still teaching? Is Marc still with his flower business? You'll have to update me on your life when you get a chance. I'd love to hear from you. Please forgive me for not keeping in touch better. Lauren is in my prayers.

By the time we get to work tomorrow our prayers will have been answered and you will be in surgery. Enjoy the last of the chocolate, baby. We'll have a chocolate party when the 6 weeks is up.
