Welcome to Amanda's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about Amanda. Amanda was diagnosed at age 6 with APL. Journal Sunday, June 29, 2008 4:24 PM CDT We just returned from our annual trip around the East tour. It began with a trip to North Carolina. We spent a few days with our friend and enjoyed some fun local activities. Then we headed East for our annual check up at Duke. This was Amanda's 3 year post transplant check up. As expected everything is excellent. In fact the day flew by and we were out ny noon....AMAZING! We will get a final report in a few weeks with info on cells etc..but I know we are great. I will be posting an updated picture soon. Amanda has grown over 2 inches since her last visit. We are expecting her to be about 5'7" or 5'8". Didn't get it from me I'm short. He eye appointment went well also. Her RX didn't change since last year. We will be getting new glasses for her after our Keys trip. She insists on contacts, but Ed insists she is tooooo irresponsible for them. So the battle continues...Ed will win. After Duke we headed to Ohio for our reunion and then over to Indiana for a visit with Ed's parents..Tour: Links: |
